The election campaign of the 44th U.S. president is now calling another candidate for the American presidency a "liar." This is a new low. It is amazing and depressing to hear this term being used as a formal strategy by people at the highest level of American politics. "Liar" is a potent and ugly word with a sleazy political pedigree. But "liar" is not being deployed only by party attack dogs or the Daily Kos comment queue. Mitt Romney is being called a "liar" by officials at the top of the Obama re-election campaign. Speaking the day after the debate...

In a video posted on YouTube by audience members at the concert, the singer delivers a rousing, profanity-laced political speech on freedom during her show. "Now, it's so amazing and incredible to think that we have an African-American in the White House ... we have a black Muslim in the White House ... it means there is hope in this country, and Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man," Madonna said. Mr Obama, who stands for re-election on Nov 6, is Christian. Madonna said later: "I was being ironic on stage. Yes, I know Obama is not...

President Obama assumed the role of celebrity-in-chief again Tuesday with a glamorous fundraiser at the downtown nightclub of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and his wife, superstar singer Beyonce. Obama addressed a group of 100 supporters at the club 40/40 on West 25th Street, his supporters having paid $40,000 apiece for the privilege of sipping champagne, lounging on luxurious, pale couches and noshing on hamburger sliders.

*** The punches land as the narrator lists the groups of people West has supposedly wronged. *** West said the ad reflects a "sad state of politics" in the country. "The ad being run against me by my opponent's family depicting violence against women and senior citizens is reprehensible," West said. "It plays on stereotypes and fear to divide Americans, and it cheapens the very real and tragic occurrences of violence against women and seniors. The American people are suffering from crushing debt, horrific tax and regulatory policies, and epic unemployment. This classless ad shows a lack of regard for...

EXCLUSIVE---MUST CREDIT ACE OF SPADES HQ: Harry Reid's Office Responds To Rumors That He's A Pederast As you know by now, when baseless but serious charges are laid against a powerful political figure, it is the responsibility of the maligned individual to prove their innocence. With that understanding, I requested comment from Harry Reid's office on the swirling charges that someone said they heard from someone that Harry Reid is pederast. The email response from Reid Spokesman Adam Jentleson can only be characterized as chilling: Cute First, note the non-denial. Based on the rumors we've all heard, we can only...

Out of the mouths of babes, from the Washington Post covering the president in South Korea: Obama arrived on the base 3:19 p.m. local time (1 a.m. Eastern Standard Time) and received a rousing welcome from 1,500 troops in camouflage uniforms, many holding cameras or pointing cell phones to snap pictures. “You guys make a pretty good photo op,” the president said. Standing on a riser wearing a blue suit and red tie, with a cluster of troops and a large American flag behind him, Obama expressed “the gratitude of the American public” and said his meetings in four countries...

Mitt Romney was firm and direct with the abortion rights advocates sitting in his office nine years ago, assuring the group that if elected Massachusetts governor, he would protect the state’s abortion laws. Then, as the meeting drew to a close, the businessman offered an intriguing suggestion — that he would rise to national prominence in the Republican Party as a victor in a liberal state and could use his influence to soften the GOP’s hard-line opposition to abortion. He would be a “good voice in the party” for their cause, and his moderation on the issue would be “widely...

Calling pro-family citizens "rabid," the Maryland Attorney General told a homosexual rally in September that if "the right-wing myopic folks" win a vote to overturn the new "gay marriage" law, then the Governor's newly appointed judges will strike down the current one-man-one-woman marriage law as unconstitutional — "so we will win." That's what Douglas Gansler, Maryland's aggressively pro-homosexual Attorney General, told a rally of homosexual group Equality Maryland back on Sept. 7, 2011. As Gansler has acknowledged, "gay marriage" has been universally rejected across the country, by the will of the people. It's only been instituted by judges or legislatures,...

As a Florida resident I have to apologize to conservatives for what happened here in our primary election. There’s an axiom regarding Florida that says if you are –in- Florida, “you have to go north in order to go south”. The remnants of “old Florida” went solidly for Newt but predictably areas like Miami-Dade and Palm Beach County where I live are areas of transplanted northerners who are known for telling us “this is how we do it up north”, which begs the question - if it’s so great in New York, New Jersey, Boston… – then why did you...

There are many things to dislike about the walking disaster known as Ron Paul. He surrounds himself with with whack jobs like anarchist Lew Rockwell and the detestable Thomas Woods, his pet professor, who wants to replace the Constitution with the failed Articles of Confederation. He has accepted campaign donations from Neo-Nazi (also known as National SOCIALISTS for those you out there who were abused by our public school system, like me) organizations like Stormfront and Vanguard News Network

(CNN) -- A church called the Phoenix Goddess Temple has been accused of being a house of prostitution, and a six-month undercover investigation has resulted in the arrests of 20 women and men who worked there, Phoenix police said Friday. Authorities are still searching for 17 more people -- all of whom have been indicted -- in connection with the prostitution enterprise, said Sgt. Steve Martos, a Phoenix police spokesman. The 20 people arrested so far have been charged with prostitution or other offenses, police said. During a Wednesday search of the Phoenix temple and two church-related sites in nearby...

The violent drug ring involved was described by the FBI as being extremely violent and presenting a clear and present danger to the public and Buffalo-Niagara community. In his combination of unctuousness, mendacity, mock-reasonableness, petulance, bullying, hypocrisy, overweening arrogance, brazen aggression, self-pity, victimhood, and bogus moral preening, it’s hard to beat Congressman Anthony Weiner. He’s the perfect face of the modern American Left in all its glorious pathology; why anyone takes these people seriously is utterly beyond me, so transparent are they. And yet for some, their sweet nothings continue to resonate. Here he is with ABC’s Jonathan Karl, doing what lefties do best: lie, equivocate, lecture, browbeat, and implicitly threaten, even when they’re caught red-handed: [video] I mean, how hard was it to see through Tony...

Heralded last year as epitomizing a new form of “activist” journalism, James O’Keefe now finds himself abandoned by some of the powerful conservatives who championed him. And a multi-million dollar effort designed to offset what many conservatives regard as the leftward tilt of the mainstream media has been undermined by a series of increasingly bizarre incidents.... O’Keefe, 26, became a superstar on the right last year when he and an associate named Hannah Giles released secretly recorded videos on Breitbart’s website showing employees of the liberal community organizing group ACORN supposedly offering advice on setting up an underage brothel. The...

Let's be grateful that Barack Obama's contempt for poli tics as usual is a matter of public record. Otherwise, we might be saddled with a White House that offers federal jobs to potential candidates it wants to keep out of Democratic primaries, and does it in such a crude fashion that it skirts the law. We might witness the release of pertinent news about one of the cases on the Friday before a three-day weekend in one of the oldest, most predictable PR tricks in the book. We might have to rely on a sketchy document purporting to outline the...

At the urging of the Obama White House, former President Bill Clinton asked Rep. Joe Sestak whether he would abandon his plans to challenge Sen. Arlen Specter in a Pennsylvania Democratic primary if given an unpaid, advisory position, according to a White House counsel report issued Friday morning. Clinton made the inquiries on behalf of Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel last summer, as Sestak began his challenge of Specter, a former Republican who had switched parties, White House Counsel Bob Bauer wrote. Obama publicly backed Specter's reelection bid over Sestak, who remained in the primary and defeated the veteran senator...

President Obama plans to meet with union leaders Monday to discuss their opposition to a proposed tax on high-cost insurance plans, a tax that would pay for his health care overhaul plan, sources told Fox News. The meeting is expected to include leaders from the AFL-CIO, Service Employees International Union and other labor organizations. Union officials told The Associated Press that they view the meeting Monday as a chance to forcefully make their case that the tax is bad policy and bad politics. Unions contend that the tax would be passed along to workers.
