State Rep. Mark Hatfield (R-Waycross) has just introduced legislation that would require Barack Obama – should he run for re-election – to provide proof of his citizenship before being granted a spot on the 2012 Georgia presidential primary ballot. The state of Hawaii, of course, has already declared the matter of Obama’s birth proven — and closed. The new measure stands no chance of passage in the final three days of the current session, but is an indication of what could come next January.

My girlfriend, for some absolutely incomprehensible reason, likes American Idol. She flipped the channel over to that show. And who appears on my TV set? That blue-lipped fascist Kenyan Muslim usurper. Barak Obama. I thought, "How appropriate. Soma for the mind, American Idol, and here's Obama encouraging people to keep watching. It's as if American Idol is actually intended to lull us to sleep". And at the end of his little endorsement for the charity that AI is supporting, he actually said, "You're all my dawgs." And I thought, "Can I please have a President who does not refer to...

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — The mayor of Champaign is drawing criticism for saying he doubts President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Mayor Jerry Schweighart's videotaped comments were posted online and led to criticism at a City Council meeting Tuesday from some black residents. They suggested Schweighart's doubts are based on the president's race.

I write this follow up in response to reader mail regarding my column DC Knows that Obama is Ineligible for Office. Even many conservative columnists and pundits seem confused on the issue of natural born citizen, even though the matter is really quite clear. Only the people can decide…But I submit to every American the idea that if Article II—Section I of the US Constitution is no longer worthy of protection and preservation, then nothing in that document matters anymore. If we fail to uphold Article II—Section I of the US Constitution, then we have failed to uphold, protect, preserve...

The House sponsor of legislation that would require presidential candidates to provide a copy of their original birth certificate is praising a similar Arizona measure, which is drawing condemnation from one of George W. Bush’s former White House press secretaries. Rep. Bill Posey (R-Fla.), sponsor of the House bill, which has attracted 11 co-sponsors, said an Arizona House-passed measure would help clarify murky guidelines about presidential eligibility. The measure, adopted 31-22 earlier this week as part of a separate bill, would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state’s ballot when...

Hey Bill, On the April 15th, 2010 broadcast of the O’Reilly Factor, you played a little too fast and loose with the truth when discussing the case of Lt. Col Terry Lakin. Lakin, whom we both recall refused orders to deploy to Afghanistan, cited lingering doubts over the constitutionality of Barack Obama’s presidency, and by extension, the legality of his orders to deploy. Before we get started, a word of advice: You should really skip the “Humble Correspondent” bit, your ego is enormous and dwarfed only by Obama’s. Your entire segment on Lakin was so laden with eye-rolls, snarky facial...

During the 2008 Presidential campaign, "mainstream" media confused the public over whether Obama ever released any real proof of his claim to being born in Hawaii. The confusion continues. Jonathan Alter, senior editor at Newsweek magazine, told MSNBC's Keith Olbermann on February 20, 2009 that "The Obama campaign actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital online." But Alter lied, since "the Obama campaign" never "actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital online." Remarkably, no hospital in Hawaii yet lays definitive claim to be the birthplace of the sitting President. .. On the FactCheck.org website, the claim...

On Thursday, April 15, 2010, Hon. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was giving testimony before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the issue of the composition of the United States Supreme Court. The hearing was broadcast on C-Span. Subcommittee Chairman, Rep. Jose Serrano, D-NY (now the most senior Member of Congress of Puerto Rican descent), and he were having a pleasant exchange. Rep. Serrano was explaining to Justice Thomas how he feels “a little uneasy” despite much of the dismay of his friends on the “left” about having a hearing for the Supreme Court because of the respect that he...

They pointed to the Honolulu Observer birth notice and its address of 6085 Kalanianaole Highway. The problem is that we have no records, other than the two birth announcements, that Obama lived at this particular address. Records show the owner Orland and Thelma Lefforge lived at that address through that time with 3 kids up until the last few years. Anyone can call in a birth announcement, and Hawaii only required one relative to order a certificate of live birth (grandma, wanting to ensure US citizenship? Grandma could have put any address she wanted on the announcement--worked at the bank/mortgage...

Is Bill O'Reilly misinformed or in the tank? Fair and balanced my a**! Why is Obama is spending over $1mil to hide a birth certificate worth less than 20 bucks? Get the real skinny at: Bill O'Reilly was spinning so fast last night (4/15/10) it made me dizzy. Bill was trying to prove Obama was born in the U.S. and purposely neglecting the 'natural born citizen' issue that is the real issue. Bill has been punked by two newspaper birth announcements that are automatically generated after a COLB is issued. Reporters don't investigate each birth---they print what they're given by...

Denver talk-radio host Peter Boyles interviewed Lietenant Colonel Terrence Lakin’s spokesperson Margaret Hemenway Tuesday, the second day in a row as the “birther” showdown unfolds in Washington. Boyles has admitted he is fascinated by the story of Greeley native Lakin, a decorated 18-year Army medic who refuses to deploy for the second time to Afghanistan because he doesn’t fully believe Pres. Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States. Lakin is the latest and highest ranking of a handful of soldiers who have subscribed to the mostly right-wing theory that Obama has hidden or falsified the usual documents...

National Public Radio has joined Snopes and UPI among websites that have changed their archives regarding Barack Obama to bring their stories into alignment, in NPR's case eliminating a statement about the "Kenyan-born" senator "since Obama was born in Hawaii." WND reported recently when the archives of the subsidized broadcast outlet referenced Obama's birthplace as Kenya and called him a "son of Africa." But the records were altered shortly after the WND story was posted, and NPR ombudsman, Alicia Shepard, has explained, "I would hope they would correct factually inaccurate information since Obama was born in Hawaii." She explained further....

On the floor of the Kenyan National Assembly the day after Barack Obama was elected U.S. president, members of the African country's parliament celebrated "a Kenyan ruling the USA," calling Obama "a son of the soil of this country." As WND reported, Kenyan MP James Orengo asked the nation's parliament only last month, "How could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?" And while none of the comments made on Nov. 5, 2008, were quite so blatant in identifying Kenya as Obama's birthplace, the declarations nonetheless claimed the...
