Heartless people just doxxed Orrin Hatch while he was speaking and his poor wife has been receiving calls nonstop ON HER BIRTHDAY and their home address was made public. This is how low they will go. Absolutely disgusting. Update: Lindsey Graham, Orrin Hatch, and Mike Lee were all targeted and doxxed with their information published on Wikipedia while they were speaking during the Kavanaugh hearing. A source I just spoke with explained Orrin's wife has been receiving nonstop calls and it's her birthday.

An intern for Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan (N.H.) was suspended for a week for shouting an expletive at President Trump while he visited the Capitol last week. The intern will have restricted access to the Capitol moving forward, Aaron Jacobs, director of communications for Hassan, told The Hill in a statement. “We are aware of the situation and have taken disciplinary action, including a one-week suspension and revoking her Congressional intern ID badge (thereby restricting her access to the Capitol), in response to her breach of office policies regarding respectful and appropriate conduct. We also facilitated contact with Capitol Police,"...

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said on Monday that he will vote for CIA Director Mike Pompeo to be the next secretary of State, making him the second Democrat to support Pompeo's nomination. "After meeting with Mike Pompeo, discussing his foreign policy perspectives, & considering his distinguished time as CIA Director & his exemplary career in public service, I will vote to confirm Mike Pompeo to be our next Secretary of State," Manchin said in a tweet. Pompeo likely already had the votes to be confirmed by the full Senate. With Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) expected to oppose him, Pompeo needed...

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Three of the four Democratic women who represent New Hampshire in Congress voiced support Thursday for an ethics probe into allegations that Minnesota Sen. Al Franken forcibly kissed and groped a woman more than a decade ago while they were on a USO tour of the Middle East. The fourth delegation member, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, is a member of the Senate Ethics Committee, which may be conducting an investigation, and said she could not comment on “specific cases that may come before the committee.” WMUR has learned that Shaheen, Sen. Maggie Hassan and U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter...

As of 2008 we are now at 1000 posts for Mainestategop, the blog of those of us who are refugees of New England Socialism and the voice of the New Hampshire based New England Alliance for Liberty and Free Markets. We've come a long way I think and I am just ecstatic. Eight years of fighting liberalism and saving America from liberal failure. I love it. Thank you to all for your continued support. Now, with that said I want to discuss political issues concerning elections in New England. There's not much to be said, we are voting straight GOP...

The New Hampshire governorship would give jihadists and Muslim Brotherhood operatives (not to mention very real Islamic terrorists) access to incredible power and influence. "Live Free or Die" is the official motto of the U.S. state of New Hampshire. If Hassan wins the Governorship, they'll have to amend that to "submit or die." Do you live in New Hampshire? Get involved and defeat this tool. Muslim Brotherhood: What does Maggie Hassan think of her husband’s Islamic radical friends that he brings to Philips Exeter Academy? Granite Grok Erickson [RedState] has absolutely lambasted and quartered the incestuous relationship that is the...

A sex-abuse scandal at Phillips Exeter Academy widened on Tuesday, as police said they are investigating “multiple allegations of misconduct and abuse” involving former faculty members at the prestigious New Hampshire boarding school. The announcement came less than a week after the school publicly disclosed that Rick Schubart — who held positions as chair of the history department, director of admissions, dorm adviser, and coach during his nearly 40-year career — had been permanently barred from campus after admitting to sexual misconduct in two cases dating back to the 1970s and 1980s. (snip) The scandal has also affected politics in...

As the Daily Beast says, it’s not just Republicans. After more than a dozen GOP governors announced plans to block the relocation of Syrian refugees to their states, New Hampshire’s Democratic governor joined the group. Maggie Hassan’s spokesman told the New Hampshire Union-Leader that safety and security for Americans has to come first: "Protecting the safety and security of our people is the first responsibility of government," spokesman William Hinkle said. "And the Governor has always made clear that we must ensure robust refugee screening to protect American citizens, and believes that we must know more of the facts about...

It took Republicans three tries to win control of the US Senate and consolidate Congress under their leadership. In the end, the landscape left by the 2008 Democratic triumph left them uniquely vulnerable in the sixth-year midterm of an unpopular presidency. The tables will turn in 2016, warns National Journal’s Charlie Cook, as the gains of 2010 will make Republicans highly vulnerable to losing control of the Senate once again: Today, The Cook Political Report puts two Republican-held seats in the “Toss Up†category—the open seat in Florida and Kirk in Illinois. That toss-up column will certainly grow as...

Women’s health agencies and their supporters, including Gov. Maggie Hassan, are bracing for yet another attempt to strip state funding for Planned Parenthood and other groups that perform abortions. Rep. Warren Groen, a Republican from Rochester, plans to introduce a bill that would “ban public funding going to any organization or group that does abortions or refers for abortions.” Groen filed a legislative service request for a bill “prohibiting the use of public funds for abortion services,” and he said it’s currently being drafted. Groen said he has a long history of opposing abortion and has assisted crisis pregnancy centers....

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)There are 65 prominent people who might run for president in 2016. The Democratic and Republican fields contrast sharply. Hillary Clinton is the clear front-runner, while there is no front-runner on the Republican side. Twenty-three Democrats have been mentioned as a candidate or are eyeing a bid, according to an analysis by The Hill. The GOP side has 42. Most of the people on this list won’t run, and some have adamantly claimed that they’re not interested. But many politicians have changed their minds on seeking the White House. Before mounting his 2008 bid, then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) said he...
