Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Wednesday took responsibility for all her decisions during the 2016 campaign, but then said those decisions were not why she lost. "Look, I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that's not why I lost, so I think it's important that we learn the real lessons from this last campaign," Clinton said during a question and answer session at the 2017 Code Conference. She then discussed how the Russians were out to to influence the American elections, the economy, and unity within the United States. This is not the first time that...

'Game of Thorns' book goes inside Trump, Clinton campaigns. Historian and author Doug Wead stated in his new book that "The secret service agent present for hours at the hotel, confirmed that there was smashing of glass and long periods of heated shouting." "The numbers from North Carolina were what really disturbed her."

I am already reading so many pundits and other talking heads analyzing the disaster that was this year’s elections. I am adding my own ten cents. Here goes: 1. We are outnumbered We accurately foresaw the enthusiasm, the passion, the commitment, the determination, and the turnout. Married women, men, independents, Catholics, evangelicals – they all went for Romney in percentages as high or higher than the groups which voted for McCain in 2008. It wasn’t enough. What we saw in the election on Tuesday was a tipping point: we are now at a place where there are legitimately fewer Americans...

Trudeau is the new owner of the Arctic Snow Globe; a dupe under the continuing influence of Obama It was the wisdom and majesty of God Almighty that gave us the treasures of Earth’s oceans. And in their incomparable greed and self-vested power, it was the unelected bureaucrats at the United Nations who seized them when no one but the politicians of the day were looking. It is an irrefutable truth that the UN stole God’s gift to mankind before sanctimoniously calling it the Law of the Sea Treaty.

After weeks of pushing the "Russian hacking" narrative, mostly through White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, Obama is finally admitting that Hillary "lost badly" in her presidential bid by failing to make an argument to people in the Midwest that inspired them to "show up." In an "exit interview" with NPR, Obama said that Democrats face "structural problems" with their base clustered in urban areas on the coasts which requires presidential candidates to make their case to swing voters in the Midwest, something he says Hillary failed to do. Per The Hill: Of course, when pressed on whether the electorate...

WASHINGTON — When Special Agent Adrian Hawkins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation called the Democratic National Committee in September 2015 to pass along some troubling news about its computer network, he was transferred, naturally, to the help desk. His message was brief, if alarming. At least one computer system belonging to the D.N.C. had been compromised by hackers federal investigators had named “the Dukes,” a cyberespionage team linked to the Russian government. The F.B.I. knew it well: The bureau had spent the last few years trying to kick the Dukes out of the unclassified email systems of the White...

A former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff says in a new book that while Bill Clinton was in the White House, a key component of the president's nuclear launch protocol went missing. "The codes were actually missing for months. This is a big deal," says Gen. Hugh Shelton. "We dodged a silver bullet."

One winter day in December 1775, months after the battles at Concord and Lexington marked the beginning of the Revolutionary War, the nascent American military formally met its commander-in-chief. A group of Virginia rifleman found themselves in the middle of a massive snowball fight with a regiment of quick-talking New Englanders who ridiculed the strangely dressed Virginians in their “white linen frocks, ruffled and fringed.” The colonies were still strangers to each other at this point: The Declaration of Independence was months away, and the ragtag army representing the rebels was far from formally “American.” The meeting of nearly 1,000...

Europe succeeded in placing a methane-sniffing spacecraft in orbit around Mars today (Oct. 19), but it's still unclear if that probe's piggyback lander made it safely down to the planet's surface as planned. The Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO), part of the European-Russian ExoMars 2016 mission, slipped into orbit around the Red Planet late this morning after completing a crucial engine burn, European Space Agency (ESA) officials said. "It's all good," ExoMars Flight Operations Director Michel Denis said at a news conference this afternoon. "It's a good spacecraft at the right place, and we have a mission around Mars." [Europe's ExoMars...

Trump's running mate duels with Hillary's 'gender-neutral' VP pick Tim Kaine did his best to unnerve Mike Pence during Tuesday’s vice presidential debate by constantly interrupting and talking over the Indiana governor. But the cool and collected Pence, a former radio host, effortlessly batted away Kaine’s attempts to hijack the debate. The Republican National Committee and the poll-analysis website FiveThirtyEight determined that Kaine interrupted Pence over 70 times, compared to just over 40 interruptions for Pence. During his opening statement at the debate, Kaine said his primary role will be to act as Hillary Clinton’s “right-hand person.” Moderator Elaine Quijano...

The decisions of the UNCLOS “compulsory” arbitration tribunal are not enforceable in the conventional legal sense The international arbitration tribunal, constituted under Annex VII to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (“UNCLOS”), issued its final Award on July 12th in the so-called “compulsory” arbitration instituted by the Republic of the Philippines against the People’s Republic of China. Geraldine Largay knew she was doomed. It had been two weeks since she left the Appalachian Trail to go to the bathroom and lost her way; two weeks since she had wandered deeper and deeper into the woods of northwest Maine in search of a cellphone signal to message for help; two weeks since she had pitched her tent underneath a copse of hemlock trees atop a ridge; two weeks since she was supposed to meet her husband, waiting for her in his SUV on Route 27. Largay’s food was running low. Her water, too. So the 66-year-old retired nurse...

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ohio lost 112,500 jobs in 2015 resulting from the United States' trade deficit with countries that are part of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, according to an analysis by the Economic Policy Institute. That places Ohio sixth, in terms of the percentage of jobs lost to trade with TPP countries, among the 50 states and the District of Columbia ranked in the report released Thursday by the liberal Washington, D.C.-based think tank. The lost jobs represent nearly 2.2 percent of employment in Ohio, according to the analysis. The total number of lost jobs includes those directly and indirectly impacted...
