I'm marking this "Caring for the Defenders," because of what the Boy Scouts did for their fallen companions after the tornados at Little Sioux. These boys have done far more than many for the common defense. Jim Cannon, of the Letters From Home project, writes to let us know about an effort to help rebuild the Little Sioux Scout Ranch.

I'm not sure where to publish this so I put it in Personal and Misc. This is a link to a sermon that Sam Thomsen (one of the Scouts that died in the Little Sioux tornado) wrote and delivered to his church. He wanted to be a minister. He was my son's patrol leader.
