Secret Service Director Julia Pierson House should be ousted from her job, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday, agreeing with the recommendation of the top Democrat on the oversight committee. Mrs. Pelosi, the highest-ranking woman in American politics, said problems go beyond Ms. Pierson, who was put in charge of the Secret Service after a scandal involving agents who hired prostitutes in Cartagena in 2012. But Mrs. Pelosi said she accepts the analysis of Rep Elijah Cummings, the ranking Democrat on the House oversight committee, who said he was displeased with Ms. Pierson’s leadership.

Behind the shocking revelations of incompetence and unprofessionalism that rocked the Secret Service this week is a longtime reporter who has been diligently uncovering the agency's secrets for years. Carol Leonnig, a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist who has worked at The Washington Post for nearly 15 years, has broken almost every single story on the agency, a series of shocking reports that on Wednesday resulted in the abrupt resignation of Secret Service Director Julia Pierson. (Pierson called the resignation “painful.”) In less than a week, Leonnig uncovered three scandals that pushed the agency’s first female leader out the door. First,...

Former President Trump on Saturday said Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, is a “seriously troubled man” who he was trying to help, but also blamed the controversial musician for a dinner in which Trump says Ye brought along a known white supremacist. Trump said on Truth Social that Ye brought far-right activist Nick Fuentes to the dinner on Tuesday night and that he did not know who Fuentes was.

The question is, if Russian intelligence agencies successfully hacked into the DNC servers and worse, our election systems, shouldn't someone in our government be held accountable? What were our own intelligence and law enforcement agencies doing at the time? Sleeping at the switch? Why didn't Obama, Hillary and the democrats harden their systems and train their people in cyber security? Why was Hillary not prosecuted for her illegal and obviously NOT secure personal server that had classified government documents flowing through it to Russia and whomever, including assorted sexual perverts laptops? This all happened on Obama and Hillary's watch! Thank...

Call to suspend flights to U.S. after guards are filmed sleeping on the job By MARTIN DELAGO Last updated at 12:41pm on 3rd June 2007 A leading American Congressman has called for flights from one of Britain's biggest airports to New York to be suspended - after guards who should have been checking suitcases for bombs and guns were filmed sleeping or reading newspapers. Bennie G. Thompson - chairman of the Congress Homeland Security Committee - made the demand after watching secret TV footage from a six-month undercover investigation at Birmingham airport. He said: "If what I saw is the...

POSTED: 6:27 am PST March 25, 2005 UPDATED: 6:31 am PST March 25, 2005 LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles police will look into an error made by a K-9 explosive detection unit at Los Angeles International Airport earlier this week that prompted officials to evacuate a terminal. Officials say the LAPD unit left a bag containing explosive powder unattended after a training exercise Tuesday. An FBI agent later noticed the bag and alerted airport police. When an airport K-9 officer and his dog arrived to examine the bag, the bomb-sniffing dog failed to detect the explosives. An airport police officer...
