New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg argued with her fellow panelists on MSNBC’s "Meet the Press Daily" Friday about whether President Donald Trump is the leader of the free world or an aspiring despot. RealClearPolitics reporter Caitlin Huey-Burns was criticizing Trump’s communication strategy when she called him "the leader of the free world." Goldberg interjected to say that, actually, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is the leader of the free world. "He’s not the leader of the free world, but, sorry," Goldberg said. "By default he’s the leader of the free world," Commentary magazine editor John Podhoretz replied. "Angela Merkel is...

When Adolf Hitler came to power, after the Nazis had shut down all of GermanyÂ’s independent newspapers and magazines and ended press freedom in the country, Hermann Ullstein, a member of a highly regarded German publishing family, fled to New York and wrote a penetrating memoir of the rise and fall of his familyÂ’s media empire. His father, Leopold Ullstein, a Jewish newspaper dealer, had founded Ullstein Verlag, the family publishing house, which at its pre-Nazi peak owned some of GermanyÂ’s most important publications, including the Vossische Zeitung newspaper. But when Hitler stole their press holdings, Hermann Ullstein and other...

Colorado is trying to compel the same baker who just won a Supreme Court case into baking a second cake that violates his religious beliefs. Masterpiece Cakeshop’s Jack Phillips, who won a Supreme Court case in June, is once again being harangued by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission for refusing to bake a cake with a pro-LGBTQ message. Alliance Defending Freedom filed a federal lawsuit late Tuesday night against the commission on his behalf, over the state’s second attempt to compel him to bake a cake with a message that violates his religious beliefs. Two months ago, the Supreme Court...

On August 12, 2017, a free speech rally arrived in Charlottesville to stop the removal of the statue commemorating Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Then a group of Neo-Nazis, white knights, alt-right trolls, white nationalists, and other white supremacists showed up. They wanted to protect the statue, albeit for different reasons. Then to counter-protest the white (not “Rightâ€) supremacists, the violent left-wing Antifa hordes with their Black Bloc goons crashed the protest, and all hell broke loose. With protesters fighting to pulverize or protect the statue of a general who had headed one side of the American Civil War, another civil...

Some of you need to cease the denial and accept the harsh reality that the left hates you. It’s a fact, as much as the liberal gaslight gang and the conserva-sissy weakhearts deny it. You can tell that leftists hate you by the way that leftists tell you that they hate you.Take Sarah Jeong, please – hey, the New York Times was happy to get this bitter creep onboard because of her history of virulent racism. The Times saw her hate as a plus, not a negative, an asset, not a liability. You can’t draw any other conclusion – if you...

A mob of masked criminals attacked the Asher Caffe & Lounge on 945 S. Boyle Ave. in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles—throwing feces and screaming at patrons and employees of the Jewish-owned business. The grievances of the attackers included a charge that the owner is a Trump supporter and that he is gentrifying the neighborhood against the wishes of its inhabitants. The group of attackers calls itself “Defend Boyle Heights.” A masked spokesman who refused to give his name defended “our right to decide who can live and do business in our neighborhood. We don’t want Trump supporters...

Former UK Ambassador to the US Sir Christopher Meyer, 74, was beaten bloody by two attackers at Victoria Station in London on Wednesday, hours after he published an essay supporting President Donald Trump’s visit to the UK Thursday.

Fox News anchor Shannon Bream had a sudden change of plans on the night of President Donald Trump‘s historic announcement of his Supreme Court nominee. Earlier on Monday night, Trump nominated D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill the soon-to-be-vacant seat of Justice Anthony Kennedy, who announced his retirement last month. After the big primetime reveal by the president, Bream had planned on doing a live show from outside the steps of the Supreme Court. But her plans were scuttled thanks to protests near her broadcast location.

Democratic state lawmakers have a new target as they aim to tighten New Jersey's already strict firearms laws: "ghost guns." A new bill that began advancing in the Democrat-controlled state Legislature on Monday would prohibit the purchase of firearm parts used to make these untraceable homemade guns. The state Senate Law and Public Safety committee approved the measure along with a package of six other Democrat-sponsored gun-control bills that continue to move closer to Gov. Phil Murphy's desk.

To the true fascist, if you disagree with someone's opinion, you shut that person down. Had he made it to SCOTUS, he and Ruthie would have been a nightmare tag team working against our country and our freedom.

Looking for Hate in the Wrong PlacesExpanding on the growing institutional campaign to use gender-neutral pronouns, the University of Tennessee has confected up some new ones: Students are increasingly coming to college ill prepared to do the work required, and the (overstaffed) administrations are still piddling about inventing new ways to tongue-tie pupils, ignoring that the English language – unlike, for example, Romance-based ones, Hebrew, Greek, and German – is remarkably devoid of gender specificity except for the basic pronouns, which clarify meaning. Try this out with zhee: Tom and Mary went to school. Zhee passed; zhee flunked out. Who?...

Do they really hate ordinary people that much? Yes, they do. For liberals, the distinction between the "dumb masses" and their enlightened selves renders life meaningful. Disdain for ordinary folks is not just an ancillary trait of liberalism. It is fundamental to the its nature. At its heart, liberalism is a gnostic religion, and the essence of that religion is the believer's faith that he possesses the means of changing the world for the better. The belief that the world must be changed requires there to be a mass of individuals whose lives are in need of change. Following this...

Whether we agree with their beliefs or not, Gay Pride Parades (for the most part) are well… gay. Happy. Bright. Enthusiastic and peaceful. They march around with rainbow flags, wear really weird clothing, and tell everybody how proud they are to be gay. Annoying? Most certainly, especially if you feel as though they’re shoving an agenda down your throat. But these marches tend to keep it fairly peaceful. When you start putting Sweden, Muslims, and Antifa into the mix, however, you have a recipe for disaster. Recently in Stockholm Sweden, a Gay pride event was held that caused a bit...

Neo-fascists, shouting what was described as a "Nazi slogan," attacked a group of Antifa protesters outside of a venue where conservative activist Charles Kirk had just concluded a lecture. The fascists, believed to be connected to the Traditionalist Worker Party, charged a group of anti-fascist protesters as they were dispersing. Police in riot gear moved in to restore order. Protesters were drawn to campus because of a speech by conservative activist Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, which says on its website is devoted to the promotion of the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government.

Student activists at Oklahoma State University want the school's bias response team to have the power to punish students for racially insensitive statements. "We submit that that the university make an amendment to the student code of conduct's social justice legislation section to add language that will make 'racially insensitive and/or racist rhetoric and behavior made public knowledge' a punishable action," wrote the students, who call themselves "The Four Percent."

Social media IS the new public square. It’s the place you go when you want to reach out and find an audience. …….Except Facebook has for all intents and purposes announced that it’s killing off pages. So much for having a conservative voice there. As James O’Keefe just revealed in his latest sting, Twitter felt comfortable banning pro-Trump accounts and one of his unwitting sources said, “Yeah you look for Trump, or America, and you have like five thousand keywords to describe a redneck. Then you look and parse all the messages, all the pictures, and then you look for...

**SNIP** Over the weekend, apparel company Alpha Industries launched an Antifa-influenced M-65 Anarchy Cotton-Blend Field Jacket on high-end retailer Barneys' website. Now the $375 military-style canvas zip-up with “stand collar” and “snap flap patch pockets,” is getting slammed by the demographic it was trying to market to – Antifa members and anarchists.

If there was a fancy Malibu rehab center for Trump Derangement Syndrome it would be jam packed with celebrities right now. Ten months into Trump’s first term Hollywood actors, directors, comedians and singers are STILL having trouble coping with life under President Trump. Comedian Rosie O’Donnell confessed her sick obsession: “I spend like pretty much 90 percent of my waking hours tweeting hatred” towards Trump. And for some celebs Trump became a literal nightmare they can’t wake up from. Actor Rob Reiner whined: “I’m in a nightmare that doesn’t ever stop,” and hippie-singer David Crosby wailed about the “orange nightmare...

This YouTube video between Dr. Jordan Peterson and others is what liberals want to do to entire professions. Instead of teaching social justice in departments of education, law and social work and require you to take diversity training that advocates social justice, the Ontario law society is trying to say all attorneys and paralegals must file a statement of belief agreeing with social justice. If you fail to do so, they will revoke your credential. This is an example of the systemic discrimination against conservatives liberals are instituting, not just discriminating against conservatives in admittance to schools and graduate programs...

Yesterday was a significant day in the IRS abuse scandal. The scandal evolved from being about pesky delays in IRS exemption applications to a government conniving with outside interests to put political opponents in prison. Emails obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act reveal Lois Lerner cooking up plans with Justice Department officials to talk about ways to criminally charge conservative groups that are insufficiently quiet. Larry Noble, a law professor now with the Soros-funded Campaign Legal Center , was cited in the emails as someone agitating to jail conservatives who “falsely” report on IRS forms that...
