I know the power of prayer so I humbly ask my fellow FReepers to pray that we find my son's glasses. You see, my 5 year old is legally blind in his left eye with his glasses. He has a whole slew of eye issues and late september had his 3rd eye surgery. We haven't been able to find his glasses in about a week and I'm getting pretty frantic. We're also awaiting word for winter lay-off's any day now. I almost expect hubby to come home with his lay off slip today. UGH. Our insurance only pays for one...

We just recently purchased 6 Buff Orpington hens that are getting ready to turn 8 months old and were already laying. Yesterday I noticed one of the girls has a black diarrhea. Not sure if it's a "stress" or if it's food or illness causing it. We currently give them layer crumble and have recently given them stale bread ( OMG They're like my labs with food , when it comes to stale bread lol ) and some cabbage leaves. Just was wondering if anyone has had experience with black diarrhea in your hens and could offer some tips.

During a visit to the Ohio SOS website, I'm a weensy weeny weensy ( okay you get the picture ) bit conflicted on Issue 1. In hopes of gleaning more experience in legalees understanding, I turn to Ohio ( and other ) FReepers. Issue 1 is in short, to change the Ohio Constitution to raise the age from 70 to 75 for Judges. The above article describes changes that could be coming to coupons / couponing. I've not read anywhere else but at source link about Red Plum, Smart Source and P&G suing eBay or any of the coupon clipping services. Just wanted to give a heads up as stores are changing policy due to the extreme couponing show. And getting coupons from sources other than your local Sunday paper may be temporarily delayed.
