Some commentators are saying that the only valuable real estate with rare earths is situated under Russian occupied land in eastern Ukraine. I have seen several sources that say any rare earth minerals located in Ukraine are under areas currently held by Russian troops (Eastern portion of Ukraine), which Russia will keep. (Ethnic Russian who speak Russian etc.).
