Well Gov. Fletcher has a good chance at moving upward, although I am somewhat disapointeed to think that Jeb wouldn't really take a stab at the Presidency. He helped make a President (if you believe Michael Moore :)). Problem with Fletcher is the KY General Assembly. The Senate is strongly in the Fletcher camp, and yeah all the big Republicans are McConnell loyalists (nothing wrong with that I've met w/ and talked to Mitch on numerous occasions he's a good man and a great asset for the people of Kentucky). But the real problem, the one which will make or...

News Flash from the Campaign Trail | Tuesday, November 4, 2003 | Edmond Schwab
I just came from Waffle House (three springs road location here in Bowling Green) along w/ a number of local GOP people who went to listen to "the other guy" at one of his 11th hour whistlestop campaign spiels along the road to Election Day. Was politely treated by most of the Chandler folks, as most of them are neighbors, friends, classmate, parishoners, and civic group members from the same area as the rest of us. However the Fletcher people with me had a few roadblocks. We were out there to quietly listen to Chandler (who was 20 min late,...

Time Has Come Today    By Eddie Schwab DISCLAIMER:  The last paragraph of this should not be construed as advocation of violence of violent act, as it is merely a recommendation and call to action in peaceful protest and demonstrations against the actions of our nation's government.         No this is not me wasting my manual dexterity for writing the lyrics to the Chamber's Brothers song protesting the Vietnam War (yuck--perish that thought!). I am here today to encourage that my fellow Americans, who believe in America, conservative and liberal, Republicans and Democrats, who believe that our national government ...

Everything, true or not, about imigration, and population growth (actual and projected) simply underscores the necessity to begin, and soon, the rapid colonization and development of outer space. Earth is the cradle of humankind, but man (or woman) cannot stay in the cradle forever. Eventually mankind must break free and sow itself in the vast fronteirs of space. The technology is reachable to do it. What we lack, thanks to UN charter on the demilitarization and collectivization of space--is the freedom to do it. There is a law on the books that makes it a FELONY for an ordinary American ...

-------------------------- The Chinese and the Cubans are the strongest Republicans. They know bull---- when they hear it. There experience with communism has made them politically savvy. The problem is that Democrats have been courting other minorities Mexicans etc., for years. Since the days of Newt Gingrich they have tried to portray Republicans as racists. In a way this has worked. If Republicans courted minorities, we would win every election. Colin Powell even said that the Republican party does not reach out to Blacks. It's true. ---------- TO ALL REPUBLICANS WHO WANT TO LIBERATE AMERICA IN Y2K It is a sad ...
