LOL! I'm just repeating what I've heard, I've heard there's more New England Yankees and Cubans down there than there are Southerners.
I lived in Ft. Lauderdale for a year back in 1970, while working down there. The ONLY people I met that were born and raised in Florida, were the man and his wife that were my next door neighbors.

I'd like to think some were willing to share but it was certainly a clash of two cultures and wasn't going to work.
Certainly there were some willing to share. I would have been one. There was so much WE could have learned from the Indians.
As far as the cultural differences,, if the white man had not had the attitude, that they were heathens, things could have been different. After all, we broke all our treaties we made with them, and taught them how to scalp.
Hey, tell us what South Carolina REALLY thinks of Edwards?
Well, the wife and I were kinda looking at him,,but not now.
Up North here we see him as an expensive ambulance chaser who's daddy "worked in a mill". LOL.
I cannot speak for all of South Carolina,,,but that about covers it.
He was born in Seneca, SC but moved to North Carolina. We don't need him here. I know that's not the kind of answer you were wanting, but that's all the answer I can give at this time.
I'm sorry, I didn't see this yesterday. I did however, as I left for work yesterday morning, salute my flag and wished General Jackson a Happy Birthday. I did the same Monday morning, for Gen. Lee.
Clark, a retired Army general who sat out Mondays Iowa caucuses to focus on later primaries, said the Confederate flag is hate-filled and should be put in a museum.
Looks like he just cut his own throat! Another scumbag bites the dust!
