The only difference between consuming horse meat from cow, pig, chicken and other popular meats is that horses have come to be considered a pet. They are held in many American hearts just as a dog or cat. And I don't know many people that would consider making a meal of their dog.
Sure it may taste good, but are you really selfish enough to feast on the remains of a living creature for your own satisfaction? I'll be sure to have you inhumanly slaughtered and then set on someone's table.
I'm not against anyone eating out of hunger, but when you couldn't care about the life sacrificed for your meal, you become what's known as greedy.
