THE LAW IS THE LAW So if the US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it. And if that same government decides that the "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it. And since they already have prohibited any prayer in the schools, on which they deem their authority, then so be it. I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen. I say, "so be it," because I...

First I read this article: source link: http://www.worldtribune.com/worldtribune/front_1.html China signs $70 billion oil deal with Iran SPECIAL TO WORLD TRIBUNE.COM Monday, November 1, 2004 China has signed a $70 billion deal for the development of Iran's energy sector. China's state-owned Sinopec Group has signed a deal to develop oil fields and liquefied natural gas in Iran. The memorandum of understanding, signed on Oct. 28, called for Sinopec to purchase 250 million tons of LNG from Iran over the next 30 years. • Dim's send out bogus address on flyers in MO (vanity)

I heard this on the news updates on 97.1 FM talk radio. Apparently the Democrats sent out a bunch of flyers telling people where their voting places were and they put the wrong addresses on some of them. They said it was accidental and that many of them went our correctly. I can see it now; People being disenfranchised by "those conservatives that don't want people to vote". I just wonder what neighborhoods those flyers went out to. Did anyone else hear this?

Did people die as a result of the Abu Gahrib scandal? I had not heard this. I ask because of a thread in another site I post on. Someone on the site, after suggesting that the POW's on Stolen Honor were possibly guilty of war crimes, went on to claim that people died because of prisoner abuse in abu gahrib.

Oct 18, 12:20 PM EDT Supreme Court: Provisional ballots in wrong precinct don't count TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- People who cast a provisional ballot at the wrong precinct aren't entitled to have their votes counted, the state Supreme Court unanimously ruled Monday, rejecting an argument by labor unions that the rule wrongly disenfranchises voters. The court said that the law clearly states that provisional ballots must be counted only if the person was entitled to vote "at the precinct," and that the constitution gives the Legislature the authority to dictate voting rules. Under Florida law, if a voter shows up...
  • Anyone heard of operation snowbird? (not a news story)

http://www.operationsnowbird.com/ tells voters from states that are overwhelmingly in favor of kerry how to vote in FL for this years election. since last year's election was only a 537 vote margin they wouldn't need very many people to do this. why, with all the computer technology these days, are there still so many loop holes like this? then there's double registering of people between NY/FL - some of them voting twice. lets get a comprehensive database in this country and share info between states.

Actually this may not be in the 9-11 Commission Reports now that I think about it. Anyway, could someone lead me to information from a "neutral source" that gives Saddam's ties to terrorism. If it is in the book (which I have not had a chance to read) what page #'s? Thanks
