Well...technically it’s not the sorority endorsing him. It’s members of the sorority identifying themselves as members of the sorority endorsing him. I believe that’s kosher.
AKA does not refuse white membership. I have known white women to join it. It was founded a black sorority because it was founded in an era that did not allow black men/women to join white greek organizations.
“Amor del Rey” doesn’t mean love of the crown it means “King’s Love” or Love of the king, i.e. the Latin Kings, the organization. Considering the large number of Puerto Ricans in the organization, he’s likely legal.
Apparently it was good enough for the FDA to decide that enough "guinea pigs" were used to prove the vaccine to be effective. It's your daughters life not mine, so ultimately it's your decision, I just hope you aren't letting irrational fear/ignorance cloud your judgment.
Not by doing that...but by refusing to give a medical weapon in prevention of a disease that could led to cervical cancer. By all means teach abstinence, but what exactly does it hurt to give her a vaccine that has been shown to prevent cervical cancer in the unfortunate event that someone would expose her to it. Like I said before, it's very possible for someone to have HPV and not know it.
I'll echo the sentiment that many people have already told. It is possible for someone to have HPV and not know it and show no sign of it. Why potentially endanger your daughter's life?
Being racist is wrong....but that doesn't make it illegal. You seem to have the perception that just because something is wrong, there should be a law against it. I think smoking is wrong....should outlaw that? Feeling something that is wrong should be outlawed sounds a lot more like a liberal to me.
Again...your perception on rape is mind numbing to say the least. If you can't see that, then I can't do much for you in that area.
As far as respect to the flag goes, how about this, what's more important the symbol or the idea? In your mind the symbol has a greater importance than the ideal. I would argue that if we truly value our freedom of expression then we would not make illegal the act of destroying our symbol in a manner of protest. What good is dying for freedom if we have none?
