Administrators at a public college are claiming that state law allows them to permit biological males who self-identify as females into women’s locker rooms and restrooms on campus. Officials at Evergreen State College in Washington State stood by the claim in an interview with Campus Reform on Friday despite multiple complaints from females who apparently complained about the presence of men in women’s facilities. “We have to follow a non-discrimination policy with the state,” college spokesperson Jason Wettstein told Campus Reform on Friday. “State law doesn’t allow us to ignore gender identity as one of the protected classes,” he added.

A major public university may have violated its non-profit tax-exempt status on Monday when it sponsored a speaking event entitled “The Republican War on Women.” Non-profit, tax exempt organizations, including the University of Michigan (U-M) are prohibited from engaging in partisan activities such as attacking or endorsing political parties or platforms.

Administrators at a public university are spending at least $200,000 this semester purchasing Apple iPads for student-athletes, a Campus Reform investigation has revealed. Each athlete at California State University – Fresno (CSUF) has received, or is slated to receive, the pricey device, courtesy of money obtained through the National Collegiate Athletics Association’s Student Athlete Opportunity Fund.

The University of Colorado (CU) prediction renowned for perfect accuracy will predict a popular-vote win for Mitt Romney later this month, Campus Reform has learned. The poll has accurately predicted every presidential election since it was developed in 1980. It is unique in that it employs factors outside of state economic indicators to predict the next president. The signs directly contradict a recent state Supreme Court decision granting students the right to carry concealed weapons on all of Colorado’s public campuses. The “possession of firearms is prohibited on the Red Rocks Community College campus except for peace officers or those who have permission from the RRCC Chief of Police,” say the signs.
