Bob Barr, an outspoken opponent of medical marijuana, was defeated by Rep. John Linder in a Republican primary election in Georgia on August 20. 10 Youths Held in Mob Beating Death By MELISSA TRUJILLO Associated Press Writer MILWAUKEE (AP) _ A man attacked by a mob of children who savagely beat him with rakes, shovels and bats died Tuesday, as authorities arrested 10 youths and sought six others.
