That was NOT Clinton.......the voice was ok in some parts, but others were bad. And lets face it ...Clinton would not call and say he wants to reach out his hand to Sean.. ewwwww the thought of touching Clinton's hand....well enough said

I live 30 miles from where the quake was centered. We were 'rockin and rollin' yesterday. We had many items fall off of shelves, car alarms went off from the shaking of the cars. The main highway between Fairbanks and Anchorage had big cracks in it close to the location of the quake and other areas fanning out.

The thing I noticed most was the length of the quake. It seemed to last at least 2 minutes. We have been having aftershocks all night and even this morning.

We had a 6.6 about 3 wks ago in the same spot. This one was huge in comparison.

All in all, there was nobody injured badly, so we should count our blessings. If this size quake had happened in LA or another big city with tall buildings.......well it would not be pretty.

I am here in Nenana...aprox 45 miles north of Denali, where the earthquake was centered. We were definitely shaken in our bed and some things like the phone fell off the wall.

It was quite the ride...started slowly and seemed to subside and then it gathered momentum I guess, because it really shook us up. I was surprised at how long it lasted.

All in all, no damage done.

Bravo from another Alaskan. God bless all those unfortunate souls who have lost their lives through this terrible tragedy. My son-in-law's cousin was in Tower 2 when the second plane hit and she made it out safely. We are eternally grateful and feel blessed, and are deeply saddened for those whose families were not as fortunate. America is strong and so are we in Alaska. We all must stand together.
