    There were numerous reasons for Southern secession,

    but the reason the war started was Lincoln’s invasion of Virginia.

    Lincoln was already in Virginia, how could he have invaded? Please, with evidence show me how Abraham Lincoln invaded Virginia!

    Lincoln started the war, and Lincoln republicans are all over the place today. We call them Rhinos.

    there is nothing wrong with what Lincoln King George III did, which was to try and keep the Union Colonies united! I would have done just about the same if I was in his same position!

    The differences between Abraham Lincoln and King George III are to the point that if you even compare the two synonymously, not only does it significantly diminish the appearance of King George III in terms of overall tyranny, but it is incomprehensible why any like-minded individual would make such a comparison!

    Furthermore, you are also putting synonymous the Declaration of Independence by the Representatives of the United States Of America, with the secession by Democratic rebels in the U.S.A.!

    To cement my point, I challenge you to do this:
    --- I will list here the reasons the Representatives of the U.S.A. gave in their Declaration of Independence, to declare their independence from Great-Britain and King George III.
    --- You are to point out through proof/evidence and examples the exact acts Abraham Lincoln has in common with King George III when Abraham Lincoln was President of the U.S.A. and when the U.S. were Colonies of Great-Britain, respectively.
    --- If examples cannot be brought, then your statement is proven false!

    Not exactly.

    What I wrote was actually intended to point out the subterfuge used by moderate Republicans. I was for the most part caught by surprised when people started to debate the policies and actions that Abraham Lincoln stood for.

    Then are you arguing that Abraham Lincoln should have allowed the rebellion to form and maintain the Confederacy?

    There was never any statue that allowed secession, it was then a choice of Union or Disunion; Lincoln fought to preserve the Union!

    Secession is not an act of war, only a fascist war pig and statist piece of crap jerkface would think that way. Not that you would think like that :)

    Secession might not be an act of war, but it was never legalized to the best of my knowledge; there is nothing wrong with what Lincoln did, which was to try and keep the Union united! I would have done just about the same if I was in his same position!

    “Everything“, as you call it, began to go down hill after the Reconstruction period ended and the Democrats regained control of Congress!

    Because of the unique form of government the U.S.A. has, I believe we can always undo any damage that might have been done in the past; just as long as we still have that form of government. We still have that form of government!

    Irregardless of what you want to think, we still have elections and we still have the U.S. Constitution ruling us, the people of the U.S.A.

    What needs to be done is: Constitutionalists need to be elected into office! No more Tea Party candidates, no more moderate Republicans, no more “Reagan Republicans“, etc. We need Constitutionalists, as in people of the Constitution Party! We need a majority rule of Constitutionalists.

    When we achieve that, if we achieve that, then the U.S.A. will be restored.

    So as long as we have this form of government, we can still restore it. That is something that is so great about this, our fore-fathers built a form of government that can only be defeated when it is no longer officially in power!

    Lincoln was a bad president, and the beginning of the end of this Republic.

    This Republic has yet to end! However, if the U.S.A. does end, you could actually take it all the way back to Andrew Jackson, the first president from the Democratic Party, and blame it on him!

    But, it would be more reasonable to blame it on the person who actually did it.

    Abraham Lincoln did everything in his might to keep the Union, the Republic, together! And he succeeded!

    How is it a state right to be allowed to succeed from the Union?

    The Civil War was never about states rights, it was about a rebellion trying to keep slavery!

    Sorry, guys, but the majority of Americans do not consider the Tea Party, Fox News, Sarah Palin and Ann Coulter to be insufficiently conservative. Anyone who thinks Americans feel this way is seriously delusional.

    I might agree, but I suspect well under 25% of Americans would join me. 1/4 of the population does not win elections.

    I am sure the "Nations" ills would have occurred in the North without Lincoln. An independent South would have been spared the socialism and downward spiral.

    The so-called "independent South", as you call it, began as an oppressed country already in a downward spiral.

    The Confederacy was created by the same kind of people who regained control in the U.S. after Reconstruction and began ruining the U.S.A.; Democrats!
