Our nation was attacked on September 11, 2001. We have rightly gone after foreign enemies who allied themselves with those attackers. But we have allowed the "pretend patriots" who either encouraged or instigated these attacks to go unchallenged. I ask, will we ever stand up to these individuals? Our first President, George Washington, set out in his Farewell Address who these "pretend patriots" are, and the effects they will have should their influence take hold in our country.
