There are many idiots in the world who KNOW they are smart.
    R/D doesn’t equal BAD/GOOD.
Look at peoples voting records. Rhetoric is all fine and dandy but is worthless if it doesn’t carry through in actions. Not one politician can be called completely honest; but as far as politicians go RP is the one with the most consistent constitutional based voting record AND rhetoric. Whether or not he does or doesn’t (or appeared next to someone who does/doesn’t) believe “conspiracy x” is irrelavent to his bid for POTUS. The ONLY thing that matters is this: Will “candidate x” uphold his oath of office to protect and serve the Constitution for the United States of America. That isn’t something I’ve seen in any other candidate’s voting record.

Personally I’d rather an autistic mushroom who will defend the constitution as POTUS than the slickest reprocra@ shill who will crinkle a corner of it for ANY reason. And I do mean ANY.

To all the RP basher’s: Who has a better record with the Constitution? Please tell me because I can’t find them! And instead of saying “RP=kook/idiot/ct/antiquated/dumb...”, say “RP=____ because of ______. That is ____ opinion.”

    “Constitutionalism = Conservatism” & “Globalism = Liberalism”

“Being casual over the provisions of the Constitution or completely ignoring destroys its power as the safeguard of our liberty.“

    “These are more fallacious arguements.”

Two words my friend: bovine feces. If you don’t take the constitution seriously then you can’t claim to be a “conservative”. “Neo-conman” maybe but “conservative” no. And yes if the constitution is ignored it becomes disempowered.

Simply yelling “wrong” doesn’t cut it for a rational argument. At least explain your reasoning please. Did you mean instead that the constitution is NOT the safeguard of our liberty?

As a lifelong resident of Jackson County, I can honestly say there is NO possibility of Mr McDaniel being involved in this heinous crime. But anybody who knows how politics works knows that there are some things you don’t get elected to unless you do powerful people favors of one kind or another. Mr Mac had recently announced that he was not going to seek relection to the office of county sheriff (a position he has held for many years) if I recall correctly. I do not doubt his honesty or integrity but I have a feeling that he quit doing favors for some powerful folks who didn’t quite like that idea and decided to make an example. This is all speculation on my part, and there may be no truth in it, but people have have been dissappeared before.
We have a neighbor who does all sorts of atrocious things (he ain’t a native either) but he gets away with it because he knows people in the system. Unless he was to kill someone in a crowded street in broad daylight (which he’s crazy enough to do) he’ll never be touched.
Thirty odd years ago two fellas attempted to kill my grandpa in broad-daylight, in front of multiple reliable witnesses, because he wouldn’t let them hunt deer on his property. But it never went to court because their daddy had “connections.”
Politics is all about who you know. Here and everywhere else too I expect.

The security of this nation does not lie with “...our Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy and Coast Guard, in that order, and what there is of a Border Patrol and the Immigration Service and Airport Security.” It lies with the hope that the majority of the people who belong here own a reliable firearm, and care enough about upholding the Constitution to use it if necesarry. We haven’t had a secure nation since at least 1933, probably 1903(militia act), and in all likelyhood a long time before that! The paid military is only useful in preserving liberty if every single one of it’s members understands and upholds the constitution for the United States of America. But then again perhaps my defintion of “security” is flawed.
