If one agrees or disagrees, it has always been my understanding that the Pope’s “business” is religeon, not politics. It seems that every time that they involve in politics it doesen’t fair well. I refer to the assistance during and after World War 2 concerning the Nazis. A serious error. Politicians and Clerics should both stick to their paths and not try to interfere with the other. In my humble opinion.
Regrettably it would lead to a full and complete breakdown of the entire country, followed shortly by an unimaginablly horrible civil war. I hope none of this happens!
