A plane carrying Americans was forced to land in Iran by the Iranian Air Force. It was allowed to leave early Saturday. It isn't known if all are still aboard. A friend was notified that the health plan she’d been with for over twenty years, Capital Health Plan, was cancelled due to not meeting the Obamacare requirements. So she bought a Blue Cross Blue Shield policy off the exchange and paid for the first month using auto-deduction from her checking account. I had a disturbing conversation with a therapist about reporting/seizing patient’s guns. It revolved around the recent FR article reporting a 72 year old man had his musket collection seized because his therapist requested it. (A link would be appreciated.) We’ll call the therapist Bill. Bill: “A therapist must follow the ethical guidelines of the practice plus any state laws. So, if the patient had expressed any suicidal ideation or depression, the therapist may be obligated to report this and the weapons will be seized.” Me: “Do you think that might damage the trust relationship with the therapist?” Bill shrugged...

If you go to Google, you’ll see an invitation to “hang out” with Michelle Obama. I clicked on it. It leads to a social media page. The comments were amazingly anti-Obama. I suspect that Google has damaged itself with this blatant politicizing. I changed my homepage to Bing.

I met some illegal Mexicans last night at a party. Several years ago I stayed with a couple of wonderful Mexican families in the Baja below California. These were well-off people. The homes, on average were beautifully tiled and some of them had mahogany inlaid walls, bookshelves and cabinetry that would cost a hundred-thousand dollars here.
