Step 1: Over the Air Antenna for network sports. If you have a nice TV you should notice a significant improvement in picture quality with OTA. Cable and Sat both step on their signals.

Step 2. Get a set top box: My company creates solutions for set top boxes like Roku, Boxee, etc, Roku CURRENTLY provides the best combination of price, content and usability. The XS (top of the line) box comes with an RF remote and can even be mounted on the back of a TV. If you don’t have wireless set up in your house the XS is the only one with an Ethernet port. I have mine in a closet running through an HDMI switching receiver. Apple TV would be a game changer if it was an open platform like i0S on the iPhone and iPad. I think this will happen eventually but I think Apple is trying to secure the adequate content rights to be the category killer when it launches and some think they will tie this to a launch an actual TV set. HULU and Amazon Prime are great subscriptions. I have all these boxes in my house, but I use the Roku the mostl. I use the Apple TV as more of a media/music server for all macs and pc’s in the house,

  • How Obamacare's $716 Billion in Cuts Will Drive Doctors Out of Medicare

What’s described in this article is just phase 1 (doctors refuse new patients on medicare) in the destruction of our healthcare system. Phase 2 will be the government stepping in and mandating that doctors see a certain percentage of medicare patients. Phase 3 will make it illegal to refuse care to any Obamacare insured patient, and doctors will leave practice all together and people that would have become doctors will seek careers somewhere else thus causing a crisis in access to healthcare. Everyone will be insured and there will be no doctors to see them.

Another thing to keep in mind is that unlike nearly every other country, the U.S. Olympic Team is a private enterprise, funded almost entirely by corporate sponsors and private citizens (and lots of hard working parents).

Everybody thinks soccer is the world’s most popular sport, but it’s actually anti-semitism. I chuckled when I heard this music thinking about all the euro-trash squirming in their seats listening to this music while the US Women destroyed the competition.

Like most of O’Reilly’s stuff: populist gruel without much thought. When he doesn’t know what he’s talking about he just talks louder.

  • Why do we suck at Olympic BB gun? Where is the NRA?

The USA is competitive in Women's and Men's Air Rifle. The women were 5th and 7th this year and had gold medals in LA and Sydney. Shooting is much like golf. Anyone in the top 20 has a chance to win. The NRA lost its role as the national governing body about 20 years ago and after a bumpy start USA Shooting has improved results over the last few Olympic cycles, The objective needs to grass roots programs driving young shooters to the elite level programs in USA Shooting and the Army. Then you have to keep those athletes training for another 10 years to become more dominant shooters. This is what you compete against with the Chinese and the remnants of the Soviet Sports Machine. Ignorant remarks about BB gun don't really help either.
