hey all, sorry about not posting lately but we have kind of been in limbo! The grand jury did nothing with it, but left it lay in March. Now, after reaching the attorney again, we are being told another grand jury is convening this week some time. We have NO idea if they will pick up our issue and deal with it or not.

Please keep this in prayer! It is crazy that we should even be concerned, as the FReeper is innocent....but the justice system of late has not seemed to be very just.

This is eating away at our FReeper friend, and the longer it hangs there the worse it gets with the uncertainty.

Your prayers are coveted. THANK YOU!!!

Please lift things up again before the Lord. The enemy is beating our FReeper down....spirits of fear, doubt, negativity. Still have heard nothing!

I bind the spirit of depression, fear, negativity, doubt and cast them off, and under our feet in Jesus name. In Jesus name we loose peace, assurance, hope, and joy to God's honor and glory. Lord move things so we have an answer, an answer that the grand jury issue is dead and can never be resurrected again. Send this and any other plans of harm back to where they came from, powerless, null and void in Jesus name. Thank you Lord!

We still know nothing. As my mother says, "No news is good news!" so I am praying this to be so!

Thank you, all of you, for your continued prayers. This is a very stressful wait, and it is taking its toll on our dear friend physically. Please uphold our friend's physical condition, along with the rest.

I talked with my friend last night, and again this morning. Going on the assumption that if there were an indictment, there would be a warrant out for arrest.... no police have been to the parents' home, so - - going on the assumption, we are hoping that it was dropped. The crazy thing we are being told is that the verdict won't be known until 3 weeks from now, when it is received by letter!!! HOW IS THIS? Boggles my mind.

I was reading some of the FReepmail about this to my friend, and the enemy started attacking again. There was a lot of peace and comfort Monday til now....suddenly the awful feeling in the pits of our stomachs is returning. Please, I know there are tons of requests on your lists....but please don't let this one rest, until we know the outcome, even if it is 3 weeks!

Believe me, as soon as we have word -- you ALL will know it!

Again, my apologies! It seems I have successfully pissed people off, instead of the original intent I had. I am only trying to help a dear friend. My computer glitched on me, giving me error messages, and I had no clue that ANY emails had gone through. The next thing I know I am being told it sent out 4-7 times, and was being accused of spamming. FAR from my intent.

My friend has been advised by an attorney, not a criminal lawyer, and....I can only rest in the fact that God is in control. One lawyer will tell you to go and be present or it will make you look guilty. Another will tell you to plead the fifth, and not show --being there can be worse because they can ask ANY questions relevant or not, and there is not representation for the person charged.

Friends, we have been through many rough things and God has answered the prayers of this group of warriors in astounding ways! I am praying for His glory to again shine, and the dignity and respect of my friend to be returned (what Satan has stolen away!).

We are also being told that the verdict will not be known until it shows up in the mail 3 weeks later!? To me, this is rather odd....in SD I don't believe it works that way. Does anyone know? Is this TRUE for TX?

Thanks, again! Tomorrow is the big day ---the jury is meeting in a church, in the afternoon to deliberate on this matter. (Hmmm! In a church!!)

All it takes is for you to ask God to forgive you, in Jesus name, and it is done. He says, "as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:12 (Hold that thought for just a moment. East and West NEVER meet! That is how far away it is taken from you!! Never to return!) As soon as you have asked forgiveness, it is long gone. It is the enemy that keeps reminding you of it and holding it over your head. Satan doesn't want you to feel that peace and forgiveness.

You also need to know that God LOVES YOU! You need to forgive yourself, and love yourself again. We all make mistakes, and none of is perfect.... We will all sin until the day we die.

Father, hold our sister close to you. In Jesus name we rebuke the spirit of deceit that continues to tell her lies that she is not forgiven, bind it and cast it under our feet. In Jesus name we loose the peace, and assurance. We bind the spirit of addiction and alcoholism and cast it under her feet, in JEsus name. We loose freedom found in Christ and sobriety. For "whatever is bound on earth in Jesus name is bound in heaven and whatever is loosed on earth in Jesus name is loosed in heaven". Show our sister Your love and help her to feel it. Give her peace, joy and strength. We stand with her Lord, and uphold her to You. Keep your guardian and warring angels round about her to do battle and protect her. Hold her hand each and every day. This person is definitely struggling with defamation of character.....

I am going down for moral support this weekend, however I can't be there the day of. The enemy is doing quite a number on both of us!! Fear is a battle. The need for legal counsel that can be trusted is great! It would be awesome if there were a FReeper that is a criminal lawyer in the state of TX that could reach us and be able to help!

Lord, bring strength through the hours and days that lie ahead. In Jesus name, bring your presence and peace, and may Your presence be felt throughout the courthouse that day, and only truth spoken. In the court room, Lord reveal the truth for the jury to hear. Give the Jury the YOUR ears, to hear and discernment to know the truth from untruth. In Jesus name protect your child, and bring your child through this with honor, respect, and return of dignity. May the harm and unjustice being done fall back on those who wish to do your child harm, causing no harm to your child. Father, bring your child a trustworthy criminal lawyer to do some coaching and backing of your child. Lord, you know the needs, please fill them. Give this child of Yours support from every arena possible, with people rallying behind your child and standing up for your child in prayer as well as in person. Above all Lord, may You receive the honor and glory for the praiseworthy outcome in this battle, for it is truly Your battle and not ours. Thank you JESUS!

Thank you to all of you! I am sorry I have not been able to be here more....I am getting the prayer pings from trussell, and praying even if it is not posted. Tuesday, March 15, is the BIG day for this. Added prayers that morning for courage, boldness, strength, etc would be awesome! You guys have been wonderful, and I know from the past that God hears our prayers and answers!!! There is strength here!! Proud to call you family!

UPDATE PING

I believe we are okay with the state. There is some confusion about the in-patient contract yet because I have heard that they accepted our contracts with the nursing facilities but that they want us to continue to pursue with the hospitals. So far no hospital has agreed. We are working with McKennan yet and apparently the CEO of Sioux Valley is looking into why they refused.

Still in need of prayer! Thanks much!

the above was from an email from my friend Jill! Jess is being blessed in her position with Compassionate Care, and so are the people she works with and cares for.

AN UPDATE:

I believe that Compassionate Care is still going to work on trying to be affiliated with McKennan, as a back up....I don't think there has been a decision on that part yet, as the person to make the final decision was out of the office until today.

Another hurdle is coming this Friday, when the surveyor returns to determine if Compassionate Care is making the corrections necessary to meet the state's requirements to stay open.

ON THE PRAISE END....I want to share this email that came from my friend who works at Compassionate Care.

You are all wonderful and I appreciate you so much. We have had some wonderful answers to prayer. The situation at work is so much better and yes, I will have a job come Christmas! To start with, the surveyor with the state who gave us this bad report called my director who was very honest about her misinterpretations and how their demand to get an inpt. contract has tied our hands due to the political climate. She actually listened and heard!!! The next day she called again and stated she would accept the inpt. contract that they initially approved and then denied. Her mood toward us also changed drastically and she has gone way out of her way to help us respond appropriately to the survey with our plan of correction. We found out yesterday that she is approving our responses. The only hurdle is that she will come out on Friday or early next week to verify our documentation of the things we have accomplished. We have been working really hard to get everything in order and it is looking very very good.

The most wonderful thing is to see my Director! We have prayed together as staff and last week she really seemed to be "giving it over to the Lord". One day she was looking high and low for a book that she really needed and she stated she prayed about it and the Lord told her where to look and it was there. Those were her words!!! I really love my job. The whole staff, 5 full-time women and 2 on-call chaplains are all Christians. I go to church with 3 of them. I just thank you and thank God for his faithfullness. We serve an awesome God!!!

***** In the past week, I have also seen my daughter blossom, and hear how God is using her to touch the lives of the patients in her care. It brings tears to my eyes!!

Thank you for your prayers, thus far! Please keep praying us through the last few hurdles!!!

an update:

The surveyor who had previously said that their In-Patient care at the Nursing Homes didn't count is now reversing her decision, as she had been made aware of the political controversy between the hospitals. However, they will still need to work out some other issues, and still need the approval to work through McKennan hospital.

God has moved the surveyor! I am trusting Him to move the "powers that be" at the hospital, as well! Thanks for your continued prayers and I will keep the updates coming as I get them!
