We hear that Town & Country, the bar at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, will close Jan. 15. Storied bartender Sambonn Lek tells us that he will continue on at the Mayflower, but that the Thomas Pink store, already on premises, will move to Town & Country's old spot. This morning I discovered, by accident, that my TV has a "pic flip" feature which reverses the picture on the screen. I didn't realize what had happened or why the printing on the screen was backwards, so I clicked through several channels to see if it was like that on all the channels or just that one. When I got to my local NBC channel there was Chris Matthews, however, it took a few moments to recognize him because at first I thought it was Andy Warhol. Can anyone do side by side of Matthews (flipped) and Warhol?
