Most likely referencing “Glock Switches”, I believe they went viral awhile back when “teens” discovered you could get them from china relatively easy. They replace the rear plate, and have the capability of converting the handgun to fire in a full-automatic fashion.

As long as the hard drive is not encrypted yes. However you can also recover the images by booting a live Linux image from a flash drive, then transfer the files to an additional flash drive or network storage. This method does not require disassembly or adapter cables, as long as the PC will boot the live image. Just be sure not to install Linux, just boot from the flash drive.

I’m not an accountant, or financial adviser, or even very savvy with finances. However, between an interest free loan to the the gov’t and a >4% APY savings rate at most banks, I would take the savings rate.

I’m sure a Canadian can chime in with more detail, but from what I understand. Canadian mortgages do not have a fixed rate over the entire loan period. There is a period where the rate is fixed, but is adjusted period to period. I believe it is something like 3 or 5 years.
