This is my first post here on Free Republic. I work for a pro-life organization and here is the latest news I am getting that could be a shocker for pro-lifers. 1) Justice Sandra Day O'Conner will retire as early as next week. 2) Bush will nominate pro-abort Alberto Gonzalez to replace her, despite opposition from pro-life activists. 3) Chief Justice Rehnquist will retire. 4) Bush will nominate a solid pro-lifer to make pro-lifers shut up. 5) No loss but NO GAIN for pro-lifers. Here is also some info I received today: A top pro-life lobbyist (who I will not name) asked Alberto Gonzalez the following question: Mr Gonzalez, what is the consitution? Gonzalez: "Whatever the Supreme Court says it is." Pro-lifers, we can not stand for this. This is the latest info as of 12:00 am on Friday, June 24th.
