Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump continues to increase his lead in national polls and accumulate more delegates than his opposition. At this point, Trump is the clear choice of conservative voters to be the Republican nominee and presidential candidate. While many of his harshest critics have accepted his status as the likely Republican nominee – efforts persist to stop him. If Trump gains 1,237 delegates prior to the start of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18th, he clinches the nomination. If Trump doesn’t reach 1,237 delegates prior to the convention – he could be denied the...

A man who tried to rush the stage at a Donald Trump rally in Ohio was charged by federal prosecutors Tuesday with illegally entering a restricted area. Authorities say Thomas Dimassimo, of Fairborn, jumped a barricade and rushed at Trump on Saturday. Video from the rally shows Dimassimo was able to touch the stage before security officials tackled him. Dimassimo, 22, was charged in federal court in Dayton. The misdemeanor charge carries up to a one-year prison sentence. Dimassimo, who attends Wright State University in Dayton, is a hard-working college student whose intentions were benevolent and a way to express...

New video of Donald Trump’s press conference Tuesday evening shows that the Washington Post’s account of an altercation involving Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields could not possibly have happened as Ben Terris reported. In conducting our own due diligence, we have reviewed as much video footage and other evidence as possible, and present it in the interest of transparency. Contrary to what Donald Trump said Thursday evening after the GOP debate, the incident certainly happened. However, the person who made contact with Fields was likely not Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. As Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson said Thursday on...

Full disclosure: I’m a supporter of Ted Cruz. I’ve even bet on him to win the election and primary, but I’m not going to allow a serial liar control the discussion of what happened. Sometimes you can tell a story is fake really quick. Sometimes you can tell a reporter is a fraud even faster just by talking to them. Last month Breitbart’s Michelle Fields falsely accused me of hacking her computer after she sent me a LinkedIn request and I called her. Not only was this absurd to accuse another reporter of a federal crime but she didn’t correct...

Six months ago every talking head on TV and print media was decrying the Trump proposal to build a border wall as impossible hyperbole. It is amazing just how far the conversation has turned. Yesterday CNN ran a segment on how the border wall would possibly be constructed, what materials would be used, and how much it would potentially cost.

During the Republican debate on Saturday night, Donald Trump floated two names as potential nominees to the U.S. Supreme Court: Judge Diane S. Sykes and Judge Bill Pryor. “We could have a Diane Sykes or a Bill Pryor, we have some fantastic people,†Trump told the audience. She was nominated by George W. Bush and confirmed in 2004. She went to Northwestern University and attended Marquette University Law School....

National Review contributors recently joined together in criticizing Donald Trump and his candidacy for President of the United States. Stefan Molyneux responds to David Boaz's contribution to the National Review's "Conservatives Against Trump." David Boaz is the executive vice president of the Cato Institute and the author of The Libertarian Mind. “A lot of Americans think it would be better to have a businessman than a politician as president, and I sympathize with them. Alas, the only businessmen crazy enough to run for president seem to be, well, crazy. At least Ross Perot kept his craziness confined mostly to private...

National Review contributors recently joined together in criticizing Donald Trump and his candidacy for President of the United States. Stefan Molyneux responds to Thomas Sowell's contribution to the National Review's "Conservatives Against Trump." “In a country with more than 300 million people, it is remarkable how obsessed the media have become with just one — Donald Trump. What is even more remarkable is that, after seven years of repeated disasters, both domestically and internationally, under a glib egomaniac in the White House, so many potential voters are turning to another glib egomaniac to be his successor….â€
