I would like to have a thread where people can ask questions about the upcoming event and someone could answer them. I have seen so many reports concerning the upcoming funeral of our great President Ronald Reagan. Time and time again, I hear bits and pieces of requirements that must be followed for a presidential funeral. I am wondering where this information is coming from. I have more questions then the reports are answering. For instance, I heard that President Reagan must be buried before sunset. Is this a requirement or just a personal preference?

An Anderson County District 4 teaching assistant says she is on paid leave because of her Christian views. Jean Byce spoke to parents and teachers at a meeting Wednesday night. She said it all started as a result of typical classroom behavior at La France Elementary. "In a school in a community like ours, where 99 percent of the people are Christians, children talk about Jesus a lot," Byce said. "A student sang a song to me and asked me a question about Jesus being in heaven forever and believing in Jesus and going to heaven, and asked if I...

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Comedian Jerry Seinfeld, known for his long-running show "about nothing," gave nothing but rain checks to fans at a sold-out show Saturday. When they arrived for the 7 p.m. show at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, they learned that Seinfeld had postponed his performance until Nov. 13, citing circumstances beyond his control. Seinfeld's representatives did not give specifics. "He's playing a practical joke on us," one fan said when she heard the news. Others holding some of the 3,200, $45 to $75 tickets went straight to being miffed. "That's ridiculous," said Steven Scherer, who had spent heavily on...

Just wondering if anyone has heard how this bunch did yesterday without Rush. I personally will never watch them again! The comments made against Rush on Sunday and the lame excuses for why no one on the panel spoke out against Rush's opinion to his face were pathetic! I have to wonder if there had been no fuss over this if anything would have been said by this bunch of cowards!

I am in a bad mood today and nothing would make me feel better than a picture of President Bush on the USS Abraham Lincoln back in May. Between the gay bishop and the democrats in general, I need a good dose of patriotism!!!! Anyone got one to post?
