Authorities along the U.S. border are on alert after receiving a law enforcement intelligence warning about a possible suicide bomber heading north toward the U.S.-Mexico Border. Breitbart obtained an exclusive copy of the leaked official document from a source operating under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The official report was circulated to law enforcement partners along the U.S. border, the intelligence originated from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the report was circulated by Border Patrol Intelligence. Breitbart confirmed the authenticity of the document with multiple law enforcement sources; however, the details contained within the report have...

TEMECULA, Calif. — U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a man near Temecula with fentanyl and cocaine hidden inside his car Wednesday afternoon. On Oct. 9 at approximately 5:15 p.m., agents stopped on a 2009 Ford Escape and conducted a canine sniff prompting agents investigate further. Agents searched the vehicle and noticed the headrests of the backseats were unusually solid. Further inspection revealed two metal boxes fixed in the headrests. James S. Brady Press Briefing Room 11:02 A.M. EDT ACTING COMMISSIONER MORGAN: Good morning. Thank you all for being here today to discuss CBP’s southwest border enforcement statistics for September. But before I get to the numbers, I’d like to say thank you to the men and women of the Customs and Border Protection for their tireless efforts through Fiscal Year 2019, dealing with this unprecedented crisis. They do a phenomenal job securing our nation’s borders, enforcing our nation’s laws, saving lives, and maintaining the integrity of our system and rule of law — and doing so with humanity and...

Border Patrol agents working along the United States-Mexico border took into custody approximately 851,000 people in the U.S. government’s fiscal 2019, marking the highest number of arrests since 2007, according to federal data exclusively obtained by the Washington Examiner. But the 40,000 people taken into custody in September is less than one-third of the 132,000 arrests made in May at the height of a surge of illegal immigrants. Roughly 40,000 people were apprehended after crossing into Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California during the month of September. That number was added to the previous 11 months to bring fiscal 2019,...

Press Briefing by CBP Acting Commissioner Mark Morgan IMMIGRATION Issued on: September 9, 2019 James S. Brady Press Briefing Room 1:02 P.M. EDT ACTING COMMISSIONER MORGAN: Good morning. And thank you all for being here today. As the Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, I’m pleased to announce the official release of CBP’s southwest border migration statistics for the month of August. And I’ve said this many times: Since Congress has failed and continue to fail to pass meaningful legislation to address the crisis at the border — which would ultimately stop children from being used as passports and end...

Customs and Border Protection (CBP, which I still keep calling the Border Patrol for some reason) has been coming under fire from liberals over immigration enforcement, though probably not as frequently as ICE. Some recent criticism over the handling of illegal immigration raids on seven food processing companies in Mississippi appears to have set CBP back on their heels a bit. During an interview on State of the Union this weekend, acting CBP commissioner Mark Morgan pushed back on the description, saying that people shouldn’t call them “raids.†He prefers the term targeted law enforcement operations. (WaPo) Acting customs...

A US border patrol marine unit on Friday morning was fired upon by Mexican cartels from the Mexican riverbank. “Early this morning, agents assigned to the Rio Grande City Station Marine Unit patrolling near Fronton, Texas, reported they were fired upon from the Mexican riverbank. Agents saw four subjects with automatic weapons who shot over 50 rounds at them. The boat was hit several times but no one on board was injured,” Border Patrol announced on Friday.

The Left’s outrage machine cranked up to maximum output again earlier this week when it was reported that the Border Patrol had kept an American citizen in detention for three weeks prior to releasing him. But as is usually the case, there is much more to the story, and a USBP official provided those details during congressional testimony this week. Brian Hastings, Chief of Law Enforcement at the U.S. Border Patrol, told a House committee that the reason why the citizen was kept in detention for so long was that he told agents he was Mexican. Hastings’ claim came in...

Kevin McAleenan, acting secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, said last week that President Donald Trump helped the department remedy the humanitarian crisis at the Southern Border. In particular, McAleenan emphasized at a Thursday congressional hearing that Trump’s diplomatic outreach with Mexico significantly reduced the number of illegal immigration into the United States.“Thanks to President Trump’s direct engagement, we’ve entered into an agreement with Mexico in early June to address the migration flows that is making a dramatic impact — a 28 percent reduction in border crossing in June,” McAleenan, who is also the commissioner for U.S. Customs and Border...

In a report released Friday, the Homeland Security Department's Inspector General said the amount of fentanyl seized by agents and stored in vaults has skyrocketed -- from 70 pounds in 2015 to 3,500 pounds so far in this budget year. In a response letter, CBP said it concurred with the findings and promised that by the end of September all its vaults storing fentanyl will have Narcan kits and that its agents will be trained in how to use them. CBP said it has trained more than 4,500 officers in how to recognize the signs of an overdose, deployed 3,300...

After belittling the Holocaust by comparing holding facilities for illegal aliens to Nazi concentration camps in World War II now Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to create a 9-11 style commission to investigate the Department of Homeland Security. AOC is open borders. She believes women and children entering the US should not be held in detention… at all.

A gut-wrenching photograph late last month of a father and daughter in the Rio Grande – while attempting to cross from Mexico into the United States – sharply exacerbated existing tensions over the ongoing border and migration crisis dividing Americans. But while politicians and Presidential hopefuls expressed their outrage and pointed fingers at the Trump administration, official data indicates that Mexico-U.S. border deaths have actually declined in the first two years of the current administration. According to statistics compiled by the United States Border Patrol, there were 298 border deaths in 2017 and 283 in 2018, making it an average...

Video at link. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) appeared on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday to discuss the immigration crisis plaguing America's southern border. Host Martha Raddatz pressed Tlaib on the fact that she voted against funding a $4.6 billion emergency border bill, something Customs and Border Patrol officials have said are desperately needed. Tlaib defended her position and even became defensive about her vote. "Do you know what the CBP [Customs and Border Patrol] agents on the ground said, Martha? Martha, do you know what they said?" Tlaib asked. "What did they say on the ground? Ask a CBP agent....

I mean I guess we shouldn’t be shocked she said this. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has said almost every terrible thing under the sun. She’s peddled anti-Semitic tropes. She’s rooted against our troops during our intervention in Somalia in the early 1990s. She’s failed miserably to identify that those who committed the 9/11 attacks were radical Muslim terrorists, instead, she trivialized this heinous act as one where “some people did something.” So, when she thinks that we should have open borders, sadly, it’s not as shocking as some of the other trash she’s spewed n recent months. Omar said that...

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should apologize for her recent temper tantrum in Texas — her slander against our brave Border Patrol agents was utterly unjustified. Following a recent tour of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) detention facilities, the lawmaker has made several outrageous claims about conditions in the detention centers, blaming the officers for allegedly mistreating illegal immigrants and even accusing them of threatening her during her visit. “I see why CBP agents were being so physically &sexually threatening towards me,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets.” First of all,...

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Wednesday spoke with CNN's Wolf Blitzer about the Democratic caucus' trip to the southern border, where they toured multiple facilities in Texas. What's interesting though, is Tlaib said exactly what Border Patrol agents have been saying for years."I can tell you that the couple of agents that have taken me aside were imploring me to please, report back what's happening here because they don't want any part of it anymore," Tlaib explained. "And they do actually feel like it's making us less safe because they're not at the border. You know, in their eyes, they're not...
