Imam Ammar Shahin of the Islamic Center of Davis in California delivered a sermon on Friday in which he quoted an antisemitic hadith and prayed for Allah to “annihilate” Jews “down to the very last one.” The video of Shahin’s sermon was posted to the Islamic Center of Davis’s YouTube channel on Friday (Update: the video has since been removed), and translated and excerpted by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), though portions of the sermon were delivered in English. In his sermon at the Islamic Center, Shahin quoted, in Arabic, one of the most notorious antisemitic hadiths (teachings...

Email Email a copy of "The Palestinian Human Right to Kill Jews With Impunity" to a friend The Fatah poster criticizing all security measures at the Temple Mount. Photo: Facebook. Mahmous Abbas’ “moderate†Fatah faction published the above poster on its Facebook page — showing it won’t accept any security measures on the Temple Mount, no matter how innocuous. In short, Israelis have no right to protect themselves, according to Abbas.Abbas pretends that he is against violence, but he strongly believes that Arabs have the right to carry weapons into their holy places. Why? Obviously to kill Jews or other Israelis — in what...

The German government has been accused of abandoning its Jewish community as a surging tide of anti-Semitism means there are parts of the country where it is considered dangerous to be a Jew. Josef Schuster, the president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, made the call. He lamented a lack of action by the German government combined with mass, unfettered immigration from Muslim countries as being key contributors to the plight felt by the nation’s Jewish community. “In some districts in major cities, I’d advise people not to identify themselves as Jews,” Mr. Schuster said in an interview...

Palestinian terrorists have changed the conditions for maintaining the status quo by bringing their slaughter into the immediate vicinity of the Temple Mount holy site Last Friday, three Arabs killed two Israeli police officers who were guarding an entrance to Jerusalem’s holy compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary. The police officers were shot with arms that had evidently been smuggled into the compound and stashed there. This latest attack was another in an unending series of terrorist murders of Israelis, but this time the attack took place at Old Jerusalem’s sacred...

After the scandal involving the ejection of Jewish women carrying Star of David pride flags at Chicago’s Dyke March on June 28, a sister organization in the city has announced that it will follow suit by banning “Zionist displays” from its upcoming protest against sexual violence and “rape culture.”

Schoolteachers and other school officials in Berlin have noticed a rising trend of anti-Semitism among pupils and say the expression “You Jew!” has become a common insult. A report conducted by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) of 21 schools in Berlin shows the level of antisemitism is growing among the primarily Turkish and Arab Muslim pupils. The group also found a disturbing rise in support for radical Islamism, according to German broadcaster RBB.

A group of Turkish ultra-nationalists on Thursday protested outside one of the most significant synagogues in Istanbul to denounce Israel’s security measures at the Temple Mount following a deadly attack last Friday that left two Israeli police officers dead, the Dogan news agency said. The group from the Alperen Hearths, a far-right ultranationalist and Islamist youth group, said in a statement read outside the Neve Salom synagogue in central Istanbul that Israel was a “terror state” seeking to block freedom for worship to Muslims. “If you prevent our freedom of worship there then we will prevent your freedom of worship...

The Hamas Islamic Resistance movement issued a press release by Ismail Haniyeh regarding developments in Al-Aqsa Mosque, in which they inadvertently admit that until this week’s Temple Mount closure, Israel has allowed practice of their faith “in complete freedom … for half a century”, reported The Tower. […] The claim that Israel plans to seize control of the mosque that sits on the Temple Mount has been at the heart of Muslim incitement against Jews for at least a century, and continues to be invoked across the Arab and Muslim world by leaders looking to deflect attention from themselves and...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was caught Wednesday by a live microphone railing against the European Union’s “crazy” insistence on resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a precondition for closer ties. Netanyahu was meeting with leaders of Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia at a regional summit. Netanyahu was discussing Iran, Syria, the Islamic State group, and EU-Israel relations when some of his comments — and those of other leaders at the meeting closed to the media — were accidentally broadcast to journalists in another room. Netanyahu also made a rare public admission that Israel has struck Iranian arms convoys...

The journalist who first reported the ejection of three Jewish women from Chicago’s Dyke March tweeted that she was removed from her reporting job because of that article. In a tweet Monday, Gretchen Rachel Hammond wrote to Dyke March’s Twitter account that “You attacked, humiliated and robbed me of a job.” Hammond confirmed to JTA on the same day that she wrote the tweet. Hammond said she could not elaborate on her tweet, citing an agreement with her employer, the Windy City Times. […] The Dyke March itself has fielded criticism for using an anti-Semitic slur, tweeting on July 13...

An editor of the left-wing Haaretz daily chastised French President Emmanuel Macron for calling anti-Zionism a form of anti-Semitism, praising anti-Zionism as “resistance” against racism and apartheid. Asaf Ronel, the world news editor for Haaretz, criticized Macron’s recent statement that anti-Zionism was a “reinvention” of anti-Semitism. “We will never surrender to the messages of hate; we will not surrender to anti-Zionism because it is a reinvention of anti-Semitism,” said Macron on Sunday. Responding to Macron’s comments via Twitter, Ronel rejected the comparison, and denounced Zionism as being “inherently racist”. Ronel also praised anti-Zionism for “resisting” the evils of modern Zionism....

Social media meltdown follows questions over funds raised for Jewish cemeteries. Those of us following the news were unfortunately subjected to an unhealthy dose of Linda Sarsour this week. The self-promoting, egomaniacal, anti-Semite managed to deliberately stir a hornet’s nest with use of inflammatory rhetoric at a Muslim conference. In an address before the Islamic Society of North America, she called for a “Jihad” in the name of “Allah” against the Trump administration and encouraged her Muslim Brotherhood audience members (ISNA was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land-Hamas terror financing case) “not to assimilate and…not to please...

Reprinted from en.mida.org.il. Politics is a coalition game. In it, one has to decide who is friend and who is foe; who to attack, and who to defend; who to partner with, and who is beyond cooperation. Where one draws his coalition line, there one delineates his political principles and moral values. Viewed as such, one cannot escape the disturbing reality that the Anti-Defamation-League (ADL) has become a farce by collaborating with anti-Semitic left-wing movements. It is no secret that Jonathan Greenblatt, the current National Director and CEO of the ADL, promotes a progressive agenda. After all, he served as...

An award-winning journalist who broke the story of the group of Jewish women ejected from an LGBTQ march in Chicago last month has been reassigned to non-journalistic duties at the paper which ran the original report, the Windy City Times. Gretchen Rachel Hammond — whose June 24 story caused a national storm after she detailed how three women flying Jewish Pride flags embossed with the Star of David were instructed to leave the gathering by organizers from the Dyke March Collective — confirmed to The Algemeiner on Monday that while she was still employed by the paper, she was not...

Last weekend, organizers of a gay pride parade in Chicago ejected three people carrying pride flags emblazoned with a Jewish Star of David. Subsequent bizarre statements attempting to rationalize their action, claiming that Zionism is “an inherently white supremacist ideology” only exacerbated the sense that the organizers were deaf to the concerns of the Jewish community and engaged in anti-Semitism — denying Jews the same rights that were extended to other participants, basically to celebrate their identities as Jewish queer women. While this incident could be dismissed as one fringe group in one city, the fact is that it does...

The real question is: Now that the ethnic-cleansing campaign of the Turkish regime has been "successfully" completed, and there are only two Jews left in Edirne, why is the governor of the city still so angry? The sweet little secret in both Turkey and Europe is that anti-Semites do not need the existence of a Jewish state to attack or threaten Jews. Hatred of Jews did not start with the re-establishment of the state of Israel. The truth is that those who carried out ethnic cleansing of Jews are the last persons who should whine about the non-existent Israeli "occupation."...

There are few surprises here. Just the inevitable descent of the Democrats into the fever swamps of hatred and extremism. According to the anti-Israel group behind the Congressional letter, “The effort to gather signatories to the letter was supported by a coalition of human rights organizations including U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, CODEPINK, Jewish Voice for Peace, and American Muslims for Palestine.” American Muslims for Palestine has been linked to Hamas. Jewish Voice for Peace, which is neither Jewish nor peaceful, is a BDS group. This is what the Dems are mainstreaming. 32 Democrats in Congress signed on to a...

This weekend, at a lesbian march in Chicago, three women carrying Jewish pride flags — rainbow flags embossed with a Star of David — were kicked out of the celebration on the grounds that their flags were a “trigger.” An organizer of the Dyke March told the Windy City Times that the fabric “made people feel unsafe” and that she and the other members of the Dyke March collective didn’t want anything “that can inadvertently or advertently express Zionism” at the event. Laurel Grauer, one of the women who was ejected, said she’d been carrying that Jewish pride flag...

The final round of marches celebrating Pride 2017 occurred this weekend in cities around the world. In Chicago, the Dyke March, which is billed as a more inclusive event, was held Saturday, but, as people who don't agree with a laundry list of policy positions decided on by the organizers are increasingly finding out, the marches are anything but. Laurel Grauer said she'd "lost count of the number of people who harassed" her, and told Windy City Times: "It was a flag from my congregation which celebrates my queer, Jewish identity which I have done for over a decade marching...

Jewish people celebrating LGBT Pride in Chicago were told not to display Star of David flags because other people found them “offensive.” The Jewish Star of David flag was banned from the city’s annual Dyke March celebrations, and several people carrying the flag were removed form the march because their presence “made people feel unsafe,” LGBT paper Windy City Times reported. The Dyke March is described by organizers as being a “more inclusive, more social justice-oriented” march than the city’s main Pride parade. One marcher, Laurel Grauer, said she was harassed by other Dyke March attendees before being told she...
