I got a phone call from the sand box this morning. My son said that news of rallies to support our troops has reached Kuwait. He asked that I thank everyone involved because support from home means the world to our troops.

Thanks for posting about your son. Colorado FReeper Bump!!
We have been having Support Our Troops rallies here for the last 16 months, every weekend. I am so glad the troops are seeing this. We do it for them. Send word back to your soldiers that we are not going to stop with showing our support.
All the Best.

Let him know that most of us are Vets from the Vietnam or post Vietnam era. I remember being spit at, having beer bottles thrown at me while home on leave fromBOOT CAMP in 1977...yeah, that late, they still did those things.
There is no way I can stand by and let our men and women in uniform get abused again.
And that's why I am holding my rallies in Ct.

This IS very good news AJ! Diotima is planing on putting together a CD of RFA pics, making a bunch of copies and sending over to our troops in the middle east! Just in case they don't "get the news"! GREAT idea!

My Grandfather was a War Hero in WWI,
he served with the Famous Fightin' 69th, 42nd Rainbow Division!!
My father was a Marine in Korea and my uncle joined the Navy in peacetime.
Unfortunately, my father ran out on the family when I was a baby...
so I joined the Navy!!!
A few good men my gray dimpled ass!!!
I guess he slipped through the cracks.
At any rate, tell the kid "Hell yes, there are plenty of good Americans on their side!!"

Thanks for the ping, MeeknMing. I'm so glad the word about the rallies is getting to the troops. They need to hear that we support every single one of them!

I just got the notice of the Sacramento Rally on this Saturday. It would seem God has timed our rally perfectly. Our troops will most likely be at war by then.
We'll be there!! Waving our Flag!!
Tell your son, that both of us are vets, and we both are extremely proud of them all. Tell them that the media is only showing the anti-war people, and not giving 1/10th of the coverage to the thousands that are showing up supporting this President and the troops!!!
Tell him, we've got his back.
God Bless!!

Thanks for the ping.
Camp Doha's newsletter is a weekly publication called the Desert Voice. Our PAO people at CFLCC are pretty busy with all that is going on and their photos and tidbits are collected for USCENTCOM.
I like printing (in color of course) the Freeper pics posted that really hit home and... that I can get away with on my plexiglass window. I have a few Hildebeast fans I have to engage occasionally, but its so unfair debating misguided morons.

Hooah and Ooh-rah! Next time you talk to your boys tell them that the only thing that makes us happier than doing this stuff is knowing that they're getting a charge out of it!
