Ron Paul Is More Conservative Than Rick Santorum.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- During a Republican presidential debate Saturday, Texas Rep. Ron Paul and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum had a spat about who was more conservative as each clawed for blocks of Republican voters needed to topple front-runner Mitt Romney.
According to a study done back in 2004 though, Paul was the more conservative of the two by a fairly healthy margin.
A list put together at voteview.com found that out of the 3,320 individuals (1 being the most liberal and 3,320 being the most conservative) who had served in the House or Senate from 1937 to 2002, Santorum ranked 2,674, while Paul ranked 3,320.
"Four or five times he voted to raise the national debt, so that tells you how conservative he is," Paul said Saturday about Santorum. Based on the survey, Paul could question pretty much any politician's conservative record against his own.
The scores were based on all roll calls cast in the period. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich slotted in at 2,893.
Paul finished second in the New Hampshire primaries Tuesday night partly thanks to independent voters in the state who turned out, while Santorum -- who's social conservative message found traction in Iowa -- slid into a virtual tie with Gingrich behind third-place finisher Jon Huntsman.
"I sorta have to chuckle when they describe you and me as being dangerous," Paul said to supporters in a speech after the primary. "That's one thing they are telling the truth about, because we are dangerous to the status quo."
The GOP field will canvass South Carolina through Jan. 21 as each candidate attempts to pitch a conservative message to Southern voters who are skeptical of Romney's record.
A Rasmussen Reports poll released Jan. 3 found that 26% of likely U.S. voters regarded Romney as a moderate.
Interestingly, Paul also ranked next to Romney as the perceived least conservative option in the GOP presidential field.

#14. Copy and paste data from whatever unreliable source you can find to try and validate your argument.
#15. Avoid/ignore any or all valid retort or facts that invalidate your agenda at all costs or whenever possible. (Go back to #6)
#16. Create a fictitious Facebook persona to hide your true identity like our Anarchist/OWS cousins.
#17. Make cowardly drive-by hit and run comment and/or “like” a fellow Paulbot’s hit and run comment.
#18. Bait adversaries by commenting/posting irrelevant points and/or points you were making during your last debate with someone totally different on another topic all together without looking like you are arguing with yourself. Try to avoid looking foolish at all costs.
#19. Scurry over to your nearest Ron Paul thread and alert other bots to join you and that you require assistance because you’re losing your delusional Liberal arguments. Then medicate, repeat, put on your drool bib and go back to marching in the paper slipper brigade.
#20. Follow #18 and 19 to the letter, then surround your opponent and take cheap pot-shots from your behind your fictitious Facebook persona (See #9 and #16).
#21. Before debating, avoid getting fecal matter in or behind your ears when removing your head from your rectum. This will be particularly useful when listening to CD’s of “Dr” Paul in your Toyota Prius.
#22. When casting your ballot for “Dr” Paul during online polls, remember to clear your cookies then repeat. Do this as many times as your fingers will allow or until the next episode of Colbert Reports, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, or your Mother calls down to the basement stairs to tell you that “dinner is ready”.

While Ron Paul has said on TV shows such as Glen Beck that he dismisses the major theories, he openly says there is a coverup of what went on yet refuses to elaborate on just what is covered up. In Ron Paul’s eyes the United States is the biggest exporter of terror in the world and all we do is going around the world looking for trouble.
Being for small government is only one requirement for being considered “conservative”. Ron Paul usually meets that requirement. In the other areas, he is the exact same as any liberal democrat and the truth needs to be told about this character. No one takes him serious as a presidential candidate, but he does take away vote from the other liberal in the race. His name is Romney.
Supporting America’s enemies is not a conservative position. No conservative ever apologizes for the al Qaeda, explains why bin Laden felt a need to attack America, or calls the traitor Bradley Manning a hero. Run Paul is worse than Obama when it comes to supporting the US in a dangerous world. Run Paul is a dumbed down libertarian with reductive Ayn Rand values that she’d have never supported. He’s so bad he’ll harm his son’s chance for future success as a Republican. His Independent supporters are mostly pot heads and perverts.

Well, I think it is between the legalizing dope and Paul's anti-war beliefs that make it impossible for him to find any reason whatsoever that America should defend herself or fight against an enemy. Take these away and you take away at least 50% of his support.
