Ron Paul's presidential campaign is getting cash infusion today from grass roots activists on the internet. The activists plan to get 100,000 people to donate $100 each, boosting the campaign by 10 million dollars in a day.
Whether the goal of 10 million dollars in a day is achieved remains to be seen. The campaign as of 10 PM Sunday night had risen just under 2.8 million for the quarter.
As of Monday, 9:30 AM Eastern time, Pauls campaign has risen over a million dollars bringing the total to over 4.1 million for the quarter.
Pauls campaign raised over 5 million in the third quarter and had over 5 million cash on hand at the start of this quarter.
The one day fund raising push is already a success and it hasnt shown any signs of losing momentum. Pauls campaign had nothing to do with the grass roots effort which makes it even more impressive.
Ron Paul voted against the Iraq war and says he will bring the troops home immediately. Paul seeks to eliminate federal income taxes and wants to reform the monetary system by authorizing competing currencies backed by gold and silver.
Paul also voted against the Patriot Act and has been an outspoken defender of the Bill of Rights.

Unless and until that money is in an actual account, I don’t count a single dime of it. Too easy for people to make a campaign promise to donate, and then not send the money in.

You're just being peevish because you don't have a cool Guy Fawkes fundraising event for your guy.
Jealousy, it's an ugly thing, Petro.

“cool Guy Fawkes” is a contradiction in terms, unless you’re a greasy leftist with a bad case of Patchouli-stink.

These are not “promises (or pledges)” to donate... these are actual “funds donated” through the https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/ website...
all donations are w/ a MC/Visa/Amex/Paypal ...
This is all “Real Money” unless you are going to make the argument that many of these folks will donate then attempt to dispute/reverse the CC charges...

Hell announce his turd party run shortly thereafter. Dream on. He'll receive the keynote speech at the convention to appease the libertarians and independents that the GOP nominee will need to defeat Hillary, and endorse the nominee in return. Chris Peden will drop his ridiculous Congressional run as a result.

Fawkes was far from a “leftist”

This is all Real Money Are you sure it's not Truthers and White Supremacists spamming the same-old crumpled $100 bill throughout network servers? :-)

Huh? It is. These are online credit card and debit card donations. It isn't counted until the card debit clears.
No, these are real donations and that is how much money they've taken in today already. The money has already transferred by the time it's reported to our totals.
There is no "pledging" on RP's campaign. Either you write a check at one of his events or mail it in. Or you donate online (the vast majority of his fundraising) and it is debited immediately and added to the total and your name (normally) shows briefly in a banner on the page. Today, there may be too many donors for them to show every name.
However, at the novemberfifth.com website, we did have about 18,000 people sign up to donate $100 or more today. So that was a "pledge" but not at all associated with the RP campaign. Ron Paul and the staff just finally heard about this last week. It was the grassroots young people that dreamed this up about a month ago. They're so excited about it. LOL.

We shall see, we shall see. Yeah, we're seeing right now. Paul is saving the GOP's ass from extinction and all you guys can do is resort to lib knee-jerk name-calling and ad-hominems. If you think Paul is going to just dry up and go away & everyone will cheerfully support the GOP nominee, you're wrong.

It appears that the graph I posted in
At $1.7m as of 12:49pm eastern...
so it will update continually throughout the "MoneyBomb"

You are right, Guy Fawkes was just a terrorist, but the character many are using to celebrate (V) was a left wing terrorist. I doubt many know the history of Fawks’ attempted terrorism. Either way, they are using this to celebrate a terrorist none the less. Proud?

Well.. no. He wasn't... "Self government" most certainly is not a "left wing" position.
Don't take my word for it... read the book.

See 54, incorrectly combining Fawkes with the V character they are refering to in many of the November 5th sites.

Alan Moore based V off of Fawkes. V is an anarchist. Not the Seattle Socialist type either. Alan wrote V's dialog to reflect a "self governance"/"anarchy means without government, not without order" premise.
This is diametrically opposed to the socialist/fascist "Norsefire" state they came up with for use in the book.
Conflating V with a "leftwing terrorist" only shows you have never read the graphic novel.

Nope, not much of a comic book person. Either way, they are celebrating a terrorist with this ‘Remember Remember the Fifth of November’ money bomb.
