I'll pray this prayer, it's appropriate and well-said.

Thank you.

This is our CFAA effort:

This is AD#1 Download this camera ready ad as an Adobe Reader file. AD#2 is for promoting your actual event.

Take a Fr. to Fathers Day!

June 16th is Fathers Day and every Catholic worth his salt
is going to honor his father and
his Fr.

Join CFAA's

St. John Vianney Project!

St. John Vianney

To all Catholics:

Make this Fathers Day, June 16th, a great day of thanksgiving for, and affirmation of, the enormous gift given to us through the acceptance of the call to priestly vocation by holy Catholic men Lift the burden of their crosses, so unjustly placed upon them by the betrayal of bishops and their brothers. Join the "St. John Vianney Project"

Consider a Fathers Day parish cookout, picnic etc. with your loyal priests as guests of honor. Make it in a public park if you can. Consider kicking it off with a Mass and public Eucharistic Procession. Invite the press and express your loyalty to loyal servants of the Church. Take pictures and submit them to your local media along with the descriptive verbiage.

Do not let the homosexual mafia inside the gates of the Church weaken your trust in that vast majority of decent, celibate men whose lives are dedicated to YOU.

Do not let the homosexual mafia outside the Church weaken your faith or permit their propaganda against
the Church go unchallanged.

DO THIS:
1) Publicize the St. John Vianney Project far and wide. Email the world.
2) Download a camera ready ad to run in your local paper. http://www.CathFam.org
3) Register your event at our web site so that we can publicize this national Catholic response
4) Don't wait! Talk to your good priest. Invite him to the house. Tell him you appreciate his
efforts. Take him to lunch, fishing, bowling, ...whatever.
5) Above all, pray for him. Do a novena of Holy Communions to the Kingship of Jesus for his
angelic protection. And tell him so.
6) Pray for, but do not applaud those priests who erroneously teach that homosexuality is ÔgiftÓ and not an objective disorder (CCC 2358), or support PFLAG, DIGNITY, New Ways Ministry, or the Catholic Parents Network

Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of Battle;

Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke Him, we humbly pray, and do Thou,

O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits,

who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

What a wonderful thread!

I've got a whole booklet (called Prayers for Priests) at home (I'm at work now). When I get home tonight, I'll go through it and post the best.

ADAPTED FROM A MORNING PRAYER WRITTEN BY ST. THERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS

O my God! I offer Thee all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to Its infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of Its Merciful Love.

O my God! I ask of Thee for myself, [for faithfull priests], and for those whom I hold dear, the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy Holy Will, to accept for love of Thee the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in heaven for all Eternity.
Amen.

I have never prayed for priests in general, as I always think of them as praying for us and our salvation. I shall follow your prayers. If I should offer a prayer, it is this:

Dear Lord, please give His Holiness the strength to do what is necessary to protect our innocent children.

A very moving thread. Thank you with all my heart for these prayers and for calling others to pray for priests.

Dear Catholic Caucus and other dear FR friends, I have only a minute to say we have succeeded in redeeming 43 Christian slaves. We will get them to safety as soon as night falls.

Thank you all of you for your prayers.

That is magnificent, Father. God bless you! You are in my daily prayers for your safety and for divine protection for you, your brothers and the Christian Sudanese.

Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord,
Keep them, for they are Thine -
Thy piests whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart;
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure, -
Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them and O remember , Lord
They have no one but Thee,
Yet they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host,
That daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed,
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.

Our Father...Hail Mary...
Queen of the Clergy, pray for them.

This prayer has been distributed some time ago by Msgr. John J. Sweeny, Our Lady of Peace, Santa Clara, CA.
