We certainly have learned there’s a completely different Catholic Church out there then the one they’ve portrayed in the past.. It seems their in nothing a person can do that the RC's consider sin any longer, or can be put out of the Church over. In fact, the more heinous the sin, the more likely they'll defend you. I suppose that with the record they have recently, it's been necessary for the hierarchy to inform their believers, that they shouldn't expect any changes in the priesthood, as far as getting rid of the perverts, because their is no longer a sin that is serious enough to warrant it.

If you can't see where he is defending sin as "big deal, we all sin" then we are reading different post.

He admits personally, that he's against sex perversions in his church, and if it were up to him they would be removed.

The problem is most of the RC's agree with him, but haven't the guts to do anything to get it stopped other then whine to each other.

If in their hearts, they believed it was a heinous sin, which Paul certainly made clear it was, when he gave us an example to follow, by having the members put the man out of the congregation, then it follows they would have handled it by now and the hierarchy would know what the people will and will not tolerate.

I know you respect our Christians beliefs, and even though you disagree with them, you agree we should follow what we believe are examples in our scripture.

Let me ask you malakai, if you believed in the teachings in New Testament scripture, and they are there for an example to be emulated, how do you read this?

1 Cor 5;12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

And the RSV translates it…..
1 Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?

Do you agree that Paul is telling the congregation that they are the ones who should have taken care of this in-house problem?

Because RC’s refuse to let scripture tell them what to do, they let men in their own clergy force them into fellowship with sin in their ministry.

If Paul told the people to remove a member from them because of the problems he would cause the church, how much swifter would he have acted had it been a deacon or an elder?

When Christians have leaders who have sinned against them, and when the hierarchy’s made aware of it, and refuses to take positive steps to correct the problem, and when good people refuse to follow the example in scripture, I consider them an accomplice, and are not doing all they can to protect the children.

A big majority of these children, and even their parents, never attend church again, and some loose all faith in God.

I find this deplorable.
