That said, i have a lot of road rash, a hole the size of a bullet in one leg (3 stitches worth) and a nice shiner. I'm pretty beat up and will be at the least, very slow on responses for the next few days if I can respond at all. The brusing and drawing in my muscles has me only barely able to walk and restricted in typing as only one of my two hands is useable without great complaint at this point.
For those more interested in the bike (kidding) it suffered damate to the front end only - that I can tell. The triple tree snapped for those who know what it is. So, all that said; please be patient with me. And for those who really know how to pray; please keep me and my transportation in your prayers. I have to replace the bike or repair it in very short order. Thank you all for your attention, and your understanding.
I'll put our prayer for you to find the perfect wife on hold for now, since she wouldn't appreciate you in that condition anyway, and pray for a miracle in your life, and some fast healing.
We'll be praying for you, expect a miracle. Jim and Ginny
Prayers for a quick recovery (regardless of whether you think I know how to pray) :-)
Yowch...my motorcycle riding career began and ended with a Honda Hawk 550 (I think). Soon had to give it up because it wasn't practical for dating my future wife...although it was great for getting close contact initially so it serve a purpose.
Prayers for your speedy recovery.
Just kidding, but I will be praying for you. Sorry to hear about your accident. Man, I wish people would pay attention to the bikers on the road, they've got just as much right as any other vehicle. What a crazy "me first" world we live in.

Sorry, ... man ...
Prayers for your speedy recovery are on the way.
Sorry to hear about your accident. I will pray for your quick recuperation.
Not long after the four-day ride home -- more evidence of His kindness -- I was back to my "normal self" (100% dead, spiritually).
Surely the Lord can use your situation to bring glory to Himself. He is good!
I didn't know you were a biker, you're not as bad as I've been telling everybody you were. :)
The rule I live by when on my bike is I NEVER have the right of way, when you start to think that you do is the day you die or get serious road rash. People pulling out in front of you is one of the things you have to watch for ALL the time, I grab brake and slow sown EVERY time I see someone coming out of a parking lot or driveway or making a left turn in front of me, even if you think they see ya don't trust them, it has served me well over the years, I'm not saying you didn't do that, sometimes ya just don't see it coming.
Sounds like you hit pretty hard if you broke the tree, you're lucky ya didn't get hurt any worse. What kind of a bike was it? As far a Harleys go they are a fun bike to ride, but they are a pain in the butt to maintain and the HD stands for $100 dollars, even the smallest thing on them will cost you a bunch. A Honda will just run and run and run and cost you very little over the long hall, their hard to beat. If ya got the bucks get both! One can NEVER have too many bikes!
Here's my invetory so far.
