Best wishes for your recovery. 40 Years ago a fellow tried to sell me on a bike. It didn't fit my lifestyle as I needed a car to carry my stuff from place to place. Anyway, he said the worst thing about being a biker was that you are invisible, because most people don't see what they don't expect to see, which is a bike. He took a trip on a big bike --the easy rider type--along RT 66 to California and made sure he took up as much space as a car and tried to make himself visible at all time. Even so, cars wouldn't see him when he went to pass and would pull out in front of him. He nearly got wiped out a half dozen times.
