I always thought that this referred to Judas.

2 Thessalonians
1 NOW we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
NASB James 1:1 James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus
Christ, to the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad, greetings.
James, the brother of Y'shua, addresses his letter only to Jews
( to the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad)
not to gentiles.
Are you a Jew?
If not it is not addressed to you!

Then what is the long discussion about SD's twins Mark and Mike??
Actually wiped clean. Believers have the righteousness of Christ imputed to them, making them righteous in God's Sight. Since we are "in Christ", His righteousness is our righteousness. Our own, old righteousness is of no value. (2Co 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Using the word covered was meant in the sense of there being something to bridge the gap, so to speak, for our own conscience's sake. I realize the OT concept of the sacrifice being a covering for sin, hiding it from God's eyes, the same as God killed two animals to provide skins to Adam and Eve for covering their nakedness.
Well, I was a Cub Scout.
Can you commit a mortal sin and immediately repent? (In theory, sure, but practically?)
I would hope that the mind can issue a cry of repentence prior to dying. I think Jesus is telling us to prepare for justice, but rely on mercy.

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification!
Did you make it through the recent problems without losing power?
I set it up last Thursday night, because I didn't know whether or not this one would run out of room when I was gone for the Sabbath. If it had such an unintended effect, so much the better. ;o)
Lost power for about 6 hours Thursday. Been on ever since. I see where some are trying to say that it started at a GM plant in Parma, Ohio, about 50 miles from me. Don't know if I believe that, but I don't believe the lightning strike theory either. I know someone who lives up by Niagara, and they said there was no lightning. I see where there is a thread on FR about AlQaeda claiming responsibility.

Luk 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Let Paul answer the question, what was Jesus body made of? The same flesh and bones He had when he was crucified, or something completely different and unique, as would all those saved believers that were to come after Him?
New King James 1 Corinthians 15:36- 38 Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
V-44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Jesus body was not the natural human body he had used for 33 years, it was spiritual body that had the ability to appear and have substance, or it could walk through walls and even be caught up into heaven.
Paul said that every mans spiritual body would be different, depending on Gods pleasure, so other then the fact it can appear as human, it is still not human, but spiritual. The natural is natural, and spiritual is spiritual.
When Jesus told Thomas to behold His hands and feet, He was saying to him, notice they are not made of a non-solid vapor or gas, but they are solid, just like yours. This was Jesus spiritual presence, one that could do supernatural things.

angelo: Each of us here is sure he is right
Well I'm sure your wrong! :) BigMack
Oops, let me correct that. Each of us here is sure he is right, except for BigMack. Poor fella is plagued with self-doubt. If it weren't for Becky telling him what to wear, he wouldn't even be able to get dressed in the morning. ;o)
