Please put 2 and 2 together. I'll phrase it differently; God would not allow himself to be born into an imperfect womb. It is possible for God to keep someone from sin, right?

God would not allow himself to be born into an imperfect womb.

Do you make decisions for G-d ?

It is possible for God to keep someone from sin, right?

Why is it needed ?

Galatians 3:11 Clearly no-one is justified before God by the law, because,
"The righteous will live by faith." [Hab. 2:4]

If you could please do a favor for me, find all of the places where Jesus brethren are mentioned. Second, find the passages with the word cousin and friend in the Bible, because in the old Jewish language brethren referred to cousin, friend, etc. If these were his siblings-none were Apostles, or even mentioned as disciples, or even part of Jesus life; it would be amazing that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John missed that. All four Gospels refer to Mary as a virgin; and wouldn't the Gospels mention His siblings at the crucifixtion, at His miracles, like all his other disciples.

And just what do you mean by that? JH :-)

Are you just fishing for more compliments?

I loved it. It summed up pretty much how I feel Christ works in our lives.

So there.

Praising God for giving me life, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. Getting down on my knees and praying put also PRAISING Him. All I'm saying there is a differnce between praying and worshipping.

Doug, how did you rid your property of leavening this year?
As I told you before, it took us (my family) a full week of misery, when I was in the WWCofG, to scrub out the registers and detail strip the house and car to find that hidden sin. Lol
It created so many bad attitudes with the kids, we didn't have to look for hidden sin, it was there in front of us for everyone to see. Lol

I did quite a bit of research on it this year. That hypercleaining seems to be more rooted in Jewish tradition than anything else. The intent of course is good, to equate the physical action of cleaning out all the leaven with sin, but I think the intent of the commandment is that we don't ingest leavening. I don't think anyone is going to eat the little dust crumbs they find on the floor. :-).

What we do is to take all the food we find that has leavening and take it down to the Salvation Army kitchen and then we don't eat leavening for a week.

It's pretty easy this year since both my wife and I are on the atkins diet and have pretty much avoided bread for the last month or so.

Since there is no scripture that gives a sure answer, let's speculate; would it make sense for God to be born into an imperfect womb when he could be born into a perfect one? Just a question.:-)

I'm embarassed, it was a joke, remember the one where the two psychiatrist passed on the street, and the one said, good morning, and the other one thought to himself. Now I wonder what he meant by that?

If G-d wanted me to know, He would have shared that in His Holy Word.

I do not define G-d ; I stand in awe of Him.

Tehillim (Psalm) 18:46 The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Saviour!

Have Blessed Easter and Feast of First Fruits.

Good luck, I went on that diet years ago and it worked.

If you get the urge to eat some real tasty unleavened bread, here's a killer.

Make up any receipt of bread dough with out the leavening.

Use a deep fryer, and when it's ready, pull off pieces of the dough, roll them in your hands until round, or put them in the shape they are in when you pull them off.

When their golden brown, Oh my, wait, I'll be back in a minute.........................................................................................................................................................................................shucks, Ginny said no!, it's too late to keep the Days of Unleavened Bread and Chili.

Oh well, maybe next year, Lol

JHarvad, you still have not answered my question; does it make sense that Jesus was born into a sinful womb when it could be perfect?

To us the Scriptures ARE tradition. Anyway, we are, after all, all looking backward at the events described in Scripture, and looking at them through the prisms of different "traditions."If one ignores or minimizes the infancy narratives in Matthew and Luke, then one has the modern Baptist Mary--a Mary who fits the Baptist tradition. If one puts a great deal of stress on them, the first two chapters of Luke and--I must add--the Cana story and the story of Mary at the Cross, then one has something like the Catholic Mary.

JHarvard, do not take womb as only in the flesh. The Son of God must have been born into a woman without Original Sin and without sins at all because Jesus would not be born without Original Sin then would he? Just asking.:-)
