Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |
And just what do you mean by that?

It's Ginny, for Virginia, not Jinny, and I'd just as soon you stop airing our dirty laundry in front of the world.

>(1) was Mary born without Original Sin... NO! She was born the same as you or I.
>(2) therefore was she born without concupiscense... NO! she had potential for the same sensual lust and human desires as you or I have.
>(3) how could she commit sin?She raised at least 7 children, and you have to ask how she could have sinned? Ask your mother if she ever had sinful thought while raising and cleaning up after you or your brothers or sisters if you had any?
Mary was a typical Jewish mother, not the divine picture of sainthood you have been seeing on pictures and statues since your birth.
When she became a believer, and understood that Jesus was the Savor Christ, she was given Gods Spirit just the same as you or I, and she is probably still in Paradise, waiting for the resurrection as well be when we die, unless Jesus returns before we die.
The RCs adoration of Mary, was no doubt a carry over from pagan religions who had worshipped the mother child combination long before Catholics approved, and changed the characters.
I have no Idea how God views this, but for me, Im thankful I wasnt brought up as a child, believing it was normal to pray to the dead who are waiting for the resurrection, and have nothing to do with the living.
Remember, Read the tag line. Lol

As I told you before, it took us (my family) a full week of misery, when I was in the WWCofG, to scrub out the registers and detail strip the house and car to find that hidden sin. Lol
It created so many bad attitudes with the kids, we didn't have to look for hidden sin, it was there in front of us for everyone to see. Lol

Taking the issue out of whether your prayers can go thru Mary to Jesus which you believe but I don't, I have to ask why would someone even want to go thru another person when they can pray directly to Jesus. I don't mean this to offend, just curious but have you ever prayed directly to Him?
yeah, right. :')

I know. Will you define what worship means to you?
Matthew 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
And......................
Mark 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Now your biblical proof, that she had no children, other then Jesus please.
JH :-)
I'm sure Mary would forgive ya.
If a woman is not perfect, and has sin like all of us, does this effect her organs. Does it leave mud stripes in the flesh or is it contaminated?
Since no blood from the woman donor goes into the fetus, and the womb is like a fleshy eggshell, that doesn't leave traces of itself on that which was in it, how can this make the fetus unclean as you imply?
Jesus said he came for the sick, not the healthy, the sinner, not the righteous, and angered the scribes and Pharisees by spending His time with them.
Since He came for the sinner, does it seem reasonable that he would require a divine womb, or would he be born from a woman who represented those He came to save?
JH :-)
Let's see. Where do I start? hmmmmmm
Yes I believe Christ lives within the saved and he is perfect.
I also believe the old body dies a spiritual death when we are born again
If we are now dead, and crucified with Christ, then how can we sin? Our old self is dead, our new self is Christ living in us
Ok, this is the part that stumps me. Our flesh is sinful and regardless of how hard we try we still sin ( even if unintentionally)so how can we be perfect?
When we become a Christian and are born again, we can sin no more, because our human, carnal, sinful nature, can no longer effect us since Christ is now in us, that sin can no longer penetrate, because Christ won over sin, and defeated Satan.
But we do sin. We try hard not to, and feel bad and repent when we do and try to correct our mistakes and learn and grow from them but I don't see how we can be perfect and still sin. Then again I also don't see how Jesus could dwell in a less than perfect temple either, though. Most confusing.
We were already saved, and these wars don't determin our salvation, just our rewards since we are dead to sin, and no longer punishable by the law.
Finally! Now this part I understand :')
