Dr. Matthew L. Stevenson III is the senior pastor of All Nations Worship Assembly, an urban charismatic church that claims 15,000 people across ten Chicago and New York City locations.
According to his church bio he is a “global infuencer, culturalist and visionary, violently raised up by God during this complex moment in history” whose ministry is “ministry is earmarked by powerful preaching, bold delivery and unusual supernatural activity.”
It further insists he is “intensely gifted in the prophetic” and that “thousands around the world have been dramatically impacted by his very timely, direct, and specific prophetic words,” all the while providing “spiritual support to entertainers, professional athletes, politicians, and business executives. “
In a recent sermon, he shares several forms of demonic sexual expression, listing pedophilia, molestation, rape, bestiality, orgies, and prostitution. (Notably, homosexuality is suspiciously absent from that list.) At one point, he says this:
Another demonic kind of sexual communication- that’s why they want us to leave them alone- is Bestie darnality. You’re not gonna tell me looking at a mouse, a cat, a goa,t is gonna turn you on. Let me give you some wisdom:
Adam was in Eden with God. Adam was surrounded by animals. God said, huh, watch me. ‘It’s not good for man to be alone.’ It’s not, now y’all see that and y’all like, ‘ooh, cause a man they find a good thing.’ No, it’s deeper. Tell your neighbor it’s deeper. God put a sexual appetite in Adam before he pulled Eve out of him.
Watch me. And God never called Eve ‘Eve’, Adam did. He called Eve ‘Adam’. You don’t have time for that. And so without something coming out of him for compatibility, he still had human hormones. Who would he be attracted to if there was no (unintelligible)? He would have been messing with the animals around him.
So as to prevent…Adam from abasing his self to bestiality, he gave him something that was just like him.
So you are not the descendants of apes!
I know the Bible said something about "they would be fools but call themselves wise"
But...
where in the Bible did it say they would go full retard?
I missed that one.
So now Adam works as a professor at Penn State? No Eve.
God made woman to complete a man. Without woman, a man cannot complete his purpose fully. This is in all aspects of life.
Even if I was completely career oriented, being alone, I could not obtain the heights of employment that I might if I were married.
“It is not good for man to be alone”
Does not imply beastiality to me but loneliness
For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools. (Romans 1:21&22.)
Perversion followed close behind.

I doubt he believes his own words, but no doubt the gullible followers sure do.
Sounds like, if I were in this pastor’s church, I would be careful not to drop my car keys anywhere around him.
What a Maroon...
Before Eve, Adam was so lonely that he decided to gripe to God. He walked to a clearing and argued that everyone else had someone to play with but him and he was tricked. God said “No problem I have the perfect answer to your dreams that will complete you and be wonderful and serve you to the end. BUT...its going to cost you an arm and a leg. Adam says whoa...that’s too steep a price. What can I get for...say....a rib?
Exactly.
The King James version says: "but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him".
In the link above, click the settings gear and turn on the Strong's concordance numbers. That'll turn on links in some of the words so you can see the underlying Hebrew words from the original text.
The Hebrew word for "meet" is "ʿēzer", and it means to help. It doesn't mean Adam needed companionship or someone to satisfy sexual lusts, although I guess one could say that's what Adam needed help with. But that's getting into what I would say is an eisegesial interpretation (seeing things with bias from our own personal experience or our culture).
An exegetical interpretation is removing your own bias and seeing things for what the definitions of the text says and how it would be interpreted when it was originally written. (Think originalist interpretation of the Constitution instead of how the liberals try to twist the Constitution to mean different things.)
To be honest, there's not much to go on here for what it means by Adam not having someone to help him. And the following verses don't say anything constructive Eve actually did. So it may be okay in this instance to have a little eisegesial interpretation to fill in the blanks on what we might think Eve's purpose was to help Adam (i.e. companionship, or sexual satisfaction, or to tell him not to overeat LOL). As long as we're clear when we tell others that we're saying what we THINK it might be, so others should take it with a grain of salt.
‘So you are not the descendants of apes!’
That’s the ONLY thing this heretic of a pastor got right.
I'm convinced that the reason Eve was called "woman" is because the first time Adam saw her, he said, "Woah! Maaaannnn!" LOL
I agree. Chickens and sheep are safe from me.
It’s a completion. By her taking over some of the burden, like cooking and homecare, I can focus on developing my career. There are only so many hours in your day and, if you have to cook and clean for yourself, that takes time away from your potential.
‘So you are not the descendants of apes!’
The beasts of the field have their own descendants.
I guess Sodom and Gomorrah didn’t get the memo.
I wonder where Dr. Matthew L. Stevenson III got his education. My guess is order online degrees for $29.00. Man looks like a clown wanting to draw attention to himself.
Oh, sure, God made male and female animals and plants but somehow He didn’t think about for humans.
False prophets face a terrible fate.
His congregation are idiots. I assumed they all have a Bible. It would be quite easy to fact-check.
