What does celebrating, promoting, and supporting the open practice of sodomy have to do with helping kids fight childhood cancer? That’s the question donors need to be asking St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St. Jude was founded in 1962 by the famous actor and comedian, Danny Thomas. A Maronite Catholic, Thomas had a great devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus and made a promise that if he became successful as an entertainer, he would erect a shrine to St. Jude. In the 1950s, his wife began raising funds for the establishment of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to make good on that promise.

Unfortunately, despite its original mandate to help kids survive catastrophic illnesses, St. Jude has strayed into the promotion of gravely immoral ideologies by fighting anti-LGBT laws, sponsoring LGBT pride events, openly promoting homosexuality, and even marching – with children – in LGBT Pride parades.
On June 1, 2024, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was heavily represented at the Memphis Pride parade. Wearing “St. Jude Supports Pride” t-shirts, carrying a banner with the same moniker, and waving rainbow flags, over 100 people representing the research hospital – and their young children – showed up about 40 minutes into the parade.

Here’s your source from the article
“In December of 2012, Planned Parenthood was involved in a “Faith and AIDS” conference that was co-sponsored by St. Jude, and in January of 2014, PPGMR again partnered with St. Jude for a “World AIDS Day” event to:”
Aids is real. Contraception is real. Homosexuality is real.
I will give to St. Jude's until I die. 5 cents of every dollars is for payroll. No one can beat that.
And I take it...you know little about Danny Thomas.
AIDS exists. People need care. That’s reality. We don’t throw people away because they don’t conform to our chosen lifestyle. I’m not saying I agree with it...Just that it exists and people with AIDS need help.
That is a big shame if it is true.
St. Jude’s is a widely beloved institution, for providing free care for kids with cancer.
I don’t care about Danny Thomas. I care about my money being spent promoting homo lifestyle and killing babies. HIV can be prevented from lifestyle choices, childhood cancer can’t.
Just canceled my 6 yr old monthly contribution.
Another institution founded to do good things that has been co-opted by the globo-homo left. Awful and sad.
I’m the same way - the LGBTQ crowd shouldn’t be excluded from medical care, work, church, etc. just for being LGBTQ.
But that is different than St. Judes PROMOTING the lifestyle by proudly marching in a gay PRIDE parade.
The kids, their families and the research will now suffer. The St Jude’s administration interjecting their politics will very likely cause the end of a once wonderful hospital. Too sad.
No money for them.
If they have money to advertise as much as they do, they don’t need a cent from me. St Jude’s took a walk on the wild side loooong ago. I stopped donating prolly 10 years ago

(Quite disturbing notes on Danny Thomas and Freemasonry, too, at the above link).
Here’s a list of charities they rate and report on:

Possibly the second link at post 33 can help.
Caring for AIDS patients is fine.
Caring for homosexual patients is fine.
Supporting causes that promote abortion is NOT fine.
Marching in gay pride parades is NOT fine.
Not another dime from me.
Poor Jude. He loved Jesus and wants others to as well.
Moneys too tight to mention. Pretty soon no one will have enough money to treat people who kill themselves and acquaintances by acquiring and transmitting life threatening diseases.
It’s not just STDs .. it’s drunk or substance impaired driving, it’s alcoholism, opiate overdose, morbid obesity, and other self induced life situations or diseases.
No money...take care of yourselves. Don’t expect others to take care of you. Ask not what others can do for you. Ask what you can do for yourself.
Let'm die!!
Yes....No money from you...Better that kids die.
