The whore that sits upon the seven hills. That seems to infuriate roman catholics whenever that is pointed out to them.
The Scrriptures point to roman catholicism, which explains why roman catholics are so offended.

Revelation 17:14-16

Revelation 19:1-3

2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
3 And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
So despite what you roman catholic preterists and replacement theorists believe, the seven hills is Rome and the whore is her religious seat at the vatican.
The geographical location this speaks of is not Jerusalem, nor was the destruction of the Temple in 70AD the fulfillment of these Scriptures.
The references to the great whore spoken of in Revelation is the roman catholic church. She is current, and her destruction is prophesied.
