Heavenly Father –

As we celebrate signing of the Declaration of Independence next week on July 4th, may we remember that our Rights come NOT from man, or any government, but from God.

And as we countdown to celebrate America’s 250th birthday in two years, may we be mindful of the great personal cost our founders made so we may have liberty:

Infinitely more, the greatest sacrifice our Creator made was to set us free:

We confess we have forgotten You, Lord, the Author of Liberty and true Freedom, especially setting us free from our sins.

In these dark days, we lift our petitions for our beloved America:

* Frustrate the political machination to rig elections

* Shine light on the lies, deceit, and hidden plots that advance a satanic agenda.

* Protect President Trump from attacks—physically, mentally, spiritually.

* Strengthen the J6 political prisoners to the time of their deliverance.

* Remove the enemy within as well as the invaders

* Raise up the godly, empowered by the Spirit, to lead us to revival and another Great Awakening.

And may we continue, without ceasing….:

Today is the Old Calendar Feast of Vidovdan (also celebrated this Sunday at many Serbian churches)!

THE HOLY MARTYR LAZAR [LAZARUS], PRINCE OF SERBIA

Lazar was one of the Serbian noblemen who ruled the Serbian empire after the death of Tsar Dušan. After the death of Tsar Uroš, Patriarch Ephraim crowned Lazar as the Serbian king. Lazar sent a delegation to Constantinople with the monk Isaiah to implore the patriarch to lift [remove] the anathema from the Serbian people.

He fought against the Turkish powers on several occasions. Finally, on June 15, 1389 A.D., he clashed [fought] with the Turkish Emperor Amurat at Kosovo Polje [the Field of Blackbirds, Kosovo Polje] where he was beheaded. His body was transported to and interred in Ravanica, the monastery he founded [Zaduzbina] near Ćuprija, and was later transported to [New] Ravanica in Srem, and from there, during the Second World War (1942), it was moved to Belgrade and placed in the Cathedral Church of the Holy Archangel Michael, where it rests today incorrupt, extending comfort and healing to all those who turn to him with prayer.

St. Lazar restored the monasteries of Hilandar [Mt. Athos] and Gornjak. He built Ravanica and Lazarica [in Kruševac] and was a benefactor of the Russian monastery St. Pantaleon [Mt. Athos] as well as many other churches and monasteries.

(*) In 1989, on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of his martyrdom, St. Lazar’s relics were again moved to the Monastery of Ravanica in Ćuprija.

May the Memory of those who defended Christian Europe at Kosovo Polje be Eternal!

May God keep Christian Europe and Christian America safe from all their enemies!

May the month of June soon be returned to the celebration of Christian feasts and events, and saved from the despicable “gay” pestilence! AMEN!
