Or fish tacos.
She did this on Pentecost Sunday, to boot. Demonic.
Not at Traditional Latin Masses.
They are the only Catholic churches that are packed to the gills on Sundays.
These were two lesbian activists who came into the church expressly to attack,
“after biting the gay woman”
I missed that part, if she is in fact gay she was there to do nothing more than disrespect and insult the church, the mass and probably create a reason to file a lawsuit.....which now she no doubt will.
Not entirely, but it is far less common than it once was. In my day, it was a point of pride among altar boys to catch any host or fragment that might be dropped. The thing is called a "paten", which is essentially Latin for a "small plate".
Interesting point. Taking something under false pretenses is fraud, taking by force is robbery.
There are people who go to Catholic masses to get the communion host in hand and to use in Satanic rituals.
I would suspect that woman is not someone who is a consecrated or otherwise educated Catholic. That’s a sacrilegious, unsanitary and plain stupid thing to do.
The Priest was equally out of order mawwing her like some wild horse. She may need a tetanus shot.
I was an altar boy after the Latin masses and we used the platters. Not sure when it stopped. I liked serving at funerals because it got me out of school & then we would ride with the priest and mortuary staff in the limo & then back for lunch.
Sometimes the family would give the altar boys a $20 to split but the penguins always took it.
It’s not as simple as you’ve been given to understand.
Disrupting a religious service is a crime in many jurisdictions.
We had an Hispanic deacon at our church who was extremely sensitive to anything happening during Communion that seemed "off." Especially at holidays or special occasion masses where there were a lot of people who were unfamiliar with the customs (e.g., lapsed Catholics or non-Catholics). More than once I saw him walk beside someone who had just taken the host in hand and watch them eat it. I'm sure that he was ensuring the host wouldn't be taken out. I believe most people act out of ignorance, but there's no doubt a segment that have very ill intent.
the priest is taking a good action. The Eucharist is not a cookie but the actual BODY of Jesus. She is committing a Crime against GOD.
Thank you, Father, for defending the Eucharist.
She sounds mentally deficient. Does she even understand what Communion is for?
I’ve been to churches which only allow Communion to its members. Although I don’t agree with that restriction, it was their church, and I just observed whatever the rules were.
Wow,,,
Could be.
New category. Florida Priest.
I agree with you in the strictly material and essential sense; the real Presence of Christ is found in the bread and wine of the Eucharist, and should be treated accordingly. Priests are, or should be, trained to protect the host from profanation by any means necessary (outside of deadly force, perhaps), and the priest here used an odd method, but it's evident he was being set up by someone who is anti-Christ and anti-church.
Having said all that, I recently taught on a cookie meme:
This is an analogy to how we present the gospel: we say we have it, the listener talks about all he already has (or all the troubles he already has), we ask if he has the gospel, he says no, we offer it. In that sense, the gospel is like a cookie. By the same token, for those who have been saved by the gospel, we have the other "cookie," the "cookie" of the Eucharist which is given for the forgiveness of sin. It would be like the other person saying, "I have X sin and Y sin and Z sin," and the priest replies, "Do you have the means of salvation?" "No." "Here," and he offers the Eucharist. (Yes, there's confession and repentance in there as well.)
What would you do if Jesus was with you and some aggressive evil loon tried to defile him? Why are you physically able to fight to the death if not for this? What is love?
Sure seems like weird media selfie (media staged event).
