The Vatican’s doctrine office will publish a new document next week on discerning Marian apparitions and other supernatural events.
The Holy See Press Office announced on Tuesday that Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, the prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF), will unveil new norms for discernment regarding “apparitions and other supernatural phenomena” on Friday, May 17.
In an interview with the National Catholic Register, CNA’s sister news partner, last month, Fernandez said that the document will provide “clear guidelines and norms” for discernment.
The new norms will be the first time that the Vatican’s doctrinal office has issued a general document on apparitions in four decades. Pope Paul VI approved norms on “the discernment of presumed apparitions or revelations” in 1978.

2 Corinthians 5:21 clearly excludes Christ. As does Hebrews 7:26.
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. Luke 1:46-48
For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. Romans 3:22-25
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:8–10)
(Is this true? If you claim that Mary is without sin then you are saying God is a liar.)
You write this:
Scripture certainly doesn’t have a passage stating “Mary was conceived with original sin”.
But God's Word DOES say that "all have sinned" and Mary, blessed as she is, is included in that crowd.
Using your logic, you would need to find a "passage" that demonstrates that Mary was sinless. You can't do that - Luke 1:42 doesn't meet your need. Neither would any attempt to say that she was "full of grace" (Luke 1:28) and therefore sinless. That's a fail, too - unless Stephen was also sinless by the same description (Acts 6:8).
Finally, I won't be replying to you (unless you change your POV) because I've been in this rodeo a long time and even though the clowns are new - the act is the same.
Except in this case....one among several.
On the Immaculate Conception.:
And indeed, illustrious documents of venerable antiquity, of both the Eastern and the Western Church, very forcibly testify that this doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the most Blessed Virgin, which was daily more and more splendidly explained, stated and confirmed by the highest authority, teaching, zeal, knowledge, and wisdom of the Church, and which was disseminated among all peoples and nations of the Catholic world in a marvelous manner ...this doctrine always existed in the Church as a doctrine that has been received from our ancestors.

Which is a blatant falsehood as it has not always existed in the ekklesia. Now, maybe Rome is splitting hairs on the definition of "church".
As has been established over the years, ebb cannot handle public debate. He/she is better off in the echo chamber of the caucus threads where he/she can debate him/herself....hence OMCET.
Given this rareness, the more interesting question is how to deal with likely non-infallible statements of the Pope-—but that is not what you asked about, and so I will proceed to actually answering your question.
I again appreciate your reasoned reply, but this leads me to another question.
IF the pope has spoken ex-cathedra on at least two confirmed cases....then exactly what else does he do?
It seems some RCs want to discard comments of the current pope, and prior popes, with whom they disagree for whatever reason(s).
I'm asking do the bulls and other communiques from the pope have authority and must they be adhered to by Roman Catholics?
I’ve observed the same.
How many times have we seen that poster preface his falsehoods with that phrase?
"As has been established" by no one but him to justify his own bigoted animosity towards Catholicism or anyone who defends it.
Personal attacks are his forte.
It has been quite amusing to see how y'all are so concerned about with whom, and when, I choose to communicate with the attackers (non-catholics and catholics) of Holy Mother Church.
But that is my decision, not any of yours.
I wonder just how much thin air it took to create THIS claim?
Well played, Lord Farquaad!
——>THIS is the way it is TAUGHT: 1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us; the only exception being Mary, Mother of GOD, of course.
...and OSAS/OJAJ (the OSAS also stands for Once Sealed, Always Sealed...I learned that recently).
It's all Work and Obey, until Jesus tells you that His yoke was easy and His burden was light.
I suppose if I believed in OSAS/OJAJ, I wouldn’t want to hear about these texts either, because they show that God demands obedience from those who claim His name, say they know Him, say they follow Him, claim to be His saints. Nicolaitans are going to do what Nicolaitans do.
1 John 2:4If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Eccl 12:13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Matthew 7:21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Revelation 14:12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
——>It’s all Work and Obey, until Jesus tells you that His yoke was EASY and His burden was light.
Just believing sounds pretty EASY. Maybe Peter got it wrong about the righteous SCARCELY being saved? How could that be when all they have to do is BELIEVE?
1 Peter 4:17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (KJV)
Yeah, I can see why the Nicolaitans loved OSAS. All the sex they wanted (outside of marriage) and still going to heaven. The Spirit can’t sin, so no problem. Maybe their motto about microsecond of grace was “EASY peasy, now get some sleazy?”
Those Nicolaitans sure are funny.
Ain't this fun!!
(Cue dueling banjos)
HMMMmmm...
Just what IS the gospel of GOD?
What IS this Good News that I hear bandied about??
If you say so.
