The silence in most churches regarding our “blessed hope” makes our expectation all the more difficult to maintain. On top of that, many of our Christian friends and family members believe it’s irrational to regard the Rapture as something that might happen anytime soon or even in our lifetime. Many in our churches think we are crazy for believing that there is such a thing as the Rapture or a seven-year Tribulation.
In spite of the long wait and scoffing that comes my way, I remain convinced that imminency is not only incredibly important for today, but also an essential aspect of our walk with the Savior.

The verses used to prove some sort of Rspture are verses talking about the 2nd. Coming. Nothing else. Verses used to prove some sort of Rapture are those thar refer to the 2nd. Coming and are taken out of context.
Apostle Paul is given the gospel for the church and tells the church in Thessalonians that we will be caught away. The rest of the Bible is written to the Jews. The seven year tribulation is when God once again deals with the Jews.
Invented by John Nelson Darby in 1833 and popular ever since then!
Nine more years until its 100th anniversary.
Thanks for your comment.
We all need to seek and understand God’s Truth.
I have three questions for anyone in general:
Since the Bible contains God’s Truth, how come the protestants claim sola scriptura but have thousands of different denominations with multiple interpretations of that Truth?
If Jesus founded His Church on Peter and the Apostles and stated “I am with you always, to the close of the age” (MT 28:20), Yet protestants follow a man made religions in 1500’s (and continuing to date) with no founding by Jesus?
How does on have true Faith in Jesus, if they do not believe His Words in the Bible? Even Peter denied Jesus three times before seeking forgiveness.
Peace be with you on the path to understanding and accepting God’s Truth.
How so?
Just as it is appointed that human beings die once,
and after this the judgment, so also Christ,
offered once to take away the sins of many,
will appear a second time, not to take away sin
but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await him.
-Heb. 9:24-28
Do you believe in the Apostles Creed that He will come to judge the living and the dead?
I believe in God,
the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
He descended into hell;
on the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
Umm - since we’ve been told that no man can know the time - we must also realize that we are warned against false “prophets” claiming to have such information.
—-> Jesus also stated that the Redemption Story and the offer of Eternal Salvation must be proclaimed to every tribe, tongue and nation; and THEN shall the end come.
This will happen as described in Revelation - post rapture, but before the second coming.
In the meantime we are commanded to reach people with the Gospel.
ALL asked by you and answers given to you MANY times already.
The Roman Catholic needs to answer how can they believe that going through Mary is NECESSARY for salvation when Scripture makes it clear it is only through Christ that a person is saved.
This is but one of many questions for the Roman Catholic.
Can’t defend your faith, but blame the other guy.
You can’t or will not answer the questions, so you punt.
You can always look up why the Catholic Church respects the Blessed Mother as the first and most Holy Saint that is closest to Jesus.
If one is truly close to Jesus, then it should be easy to understand why we are close to the Blessed Mother and ask for her prayers and intercessions.
—> Can’t defend your faith, but blame the other guy.
Already “defended” MULTIPLE TIMES to YOU.
And yet it seems you can’t read, or comprehend what is in your feed right now.
… so you ask the same nonsensical questions again and again.
—> Catholic Church respects the Blessed Mother as the first and most Holy Saint that is closest to Jesus.
Never in Scripture.
—> we are close to the Blessed Mother and ask for her prayers and intercessions
No evidence she can hear a single word from those on earth.
Never revealed in Scripture
Never commanded by an apostle
Never taught by an apostle
Never practiced before 100 ad.
Stolen from the Greek pantheon of lesser gods.
But the Roman Catholic has bigger theological issues involving salvation they need to address. Such as the non-Biblical position of the necessity of going through Mary for salvation.
Salvation is through saving faith in the sacrifice of Christ alone.
Mary has nothing to offer.
No merit comes from actions, rituals, or medals.
Nor does any church save.
True. Gonna be a shock to many Roman Catholics.
When Jesus comesagain, there are no two second comings.
did somebody get a little too excited about the eclipse? Just wondering.
