Please pray for my health. I am having several different issues, and I'm not sure if they are related. Acid reflux, sinus infection/headaches.
Pray that I will be wise in knowing just how to treat this and when/if I should seek medical help.
It is keeping me from getting rest at night.
Sometimes doctors can lead us astray.

Prayers up, pollywog.
Prayers on the way.
Up.
Keep hydrated.
Done… ✅
Prayer for you.
In the mantime, don’t eat a heavy meal after five pm.
1/4 teaspoon of sodium bacarb will help, but it’s bad for a long-term thing.
Reflux is 99% of the time too much food, too late in the day.
My belief is that the microbiome in your stomach and intestines gets out of balance with some bothersome bacteria perhaps attacking your stomach walls or upper intestines, and your body responds by increasing the acid level.
Often these troublesome bacteria will also produce gas that pushes the acid up your esophagus, especially if you are lying down.
I can usually tame them down with pro-biotic yogurt.
I've also found that breads tend to increase my problems with acid reflux. Meats and proteins seem to help.
And as always, may God grant you relief.
“Acid reflux, sinus infection/headaches ... when/if I should seek medical help.”
I had similar issues long ago. You need a doctor to take a look ... might need an endoscopy and scope to see what is going on and other tests.
But seek sound medical advice from doctors. In some cases treating something early can make a huge difference and not wise to put it off.
I hope you get it treated and you get better!
Prayers offered.
Prayers...you may want to research HCL
I will be delighted to say a prayer for you and hope you start feeling better soon.
Acid reflux and sinus infections are often related - I should know, I have had problems with this since I was a little kid. (Several thousand years ago.) The reflux doesn’t just stop in your throat, it will keep on fluxing as far as it can. I usually sleep in an almost sitting position to keep from having problems with this. And it’s painful, isn’t it?
A doctor may prescribe an antibiotic, which will often make the situation worse. Try to keep your head elevated, try not to eat anything a couple of hours within bedtime, take an antacid. Don’t drink your usual six-pack of ale! (Just kidding!!!)
But if it starts to get worse in spite of self care measures, don’t hesitate to see a doctor.
Prayers up darling Polly.
You know you are in my prayers, dear Polly.

Thank you William of Barsoom. I decided this morning I would not eat past 4pm
Thank you! Any suggestions on a brand of pro-biotic yogurt?
God bless you for your advice. This thread is turning out to be a huge help already. And yes, very painful and for several nights, scary.
Prayers up, my FRiend. Seek a Doctor’s diagnosis, too.
Those can be related, but I would expect it to be from the acid reflux.
Prayer warriors are around.
