A seismic shift has taken place in teen culture in just fifteen years. Before 2007, gender dysphoria was so rare among girls that there was no extant scientific literature on teen girls having gender identity disorders. None. In the last fifteen years over three hundred gender clinics have opened in America. In the UK, from 2010-2020, the Tavistock gender clinic saw a 4,400 percent increase in teen girls presenting for gender transformation treatment.
Eva, the mother of a 12-year-old Christian girl was at a church luncheon when she received an email from her daughter, Grace, declaring, “Mom and Dad, I need to tell you I’m not actually a girl. My pronouns are they/them.” Eva hadn’t seen this coming for several reasons. First, a few months before, Grace had shared on social media her belief that God created people male and female. She seemed to be resisting peer pressure. Second, Eva knew that kids who identify as trans usually have numerous comorbidities, and trouble fitting in, which Grace did not. The third reason Eva was blind-sided was that she and her husband were naïve about the impact that social media was having on her daughter’s generation, Gen Z.

The problem is the death of the church. Francis Schaeffer clearly discusses this in How Then Shall We Live.
Functional society requires moral absolutes. God and the teachings of the church are moral and societal absolutes. Everything else is secular humanism trying what it has been trying to do for centuries: make man the center of the universe.
Just like we discovered that the sun doesn’t revolve around the Earth, so too must we again go to god for our answers. We are lost without him.

The name of the book is HOW SHOULD WE THEN LIVE. It is a great book. It is too bad that his son works hard to discredit his father.
Young people are trying to find themselves. This makes them especially vulnerable to fads.

None of this started to show up until the advent of the smart phone around 2010. With prevalence of the social media apps it is getting worse and worse.
Too much evil lurking on social media. Dont let your kids have a smart phone period. When they turn 18, let them pay for it if they want one.

This whole business of *they/them* is ridiculous.
That is plural. The singular for a girl who wants to be a boy should either be *it* or *he/him*.
The Church has been killing itself off ever since it got away from preaching the Bible and Jesus and became a multi-faceted activist entity....The Church won’t save the world because, per the Bible, the Church will become a perverted source of evil itself - won’t get “fixed” until Jesus returns - until then it just keeps getting worse.
This whole “transgender” movement is a fad, a moment in time when some portion of a cohort takes up any wild fantasy and runs with it. Fifteen years from now, when the consequences of this behavior become widely apparent, it will be abandoned and some degree of normalcy might return, if some new craze does not seize upon the youth, and must be run out to its logical conclusion, in that the participants finally see the folly of their ways, too late, and remain as an object lesson in how NOT to behave.
No mention of indoctrination in schools and society (entertainment, business, churches—especially PCA, etc.) It goes way beyond social media.
Also yes, this is a spiritual battle. But it’s weak to denigrate parents who push back at school boards who allow this form of child abuse.
The perverted practices have already clearly stated they’re coming for our children.
The world is dying. The question is do we boldly stand on the righteousness of God or do we sink with the prideful Titanic.
Her pronouns will always be singular feminine. To say otherwise is delusional. I truly believe people in the delusion want plural pronouns because their demon infested.
The positive side to this is, fortunately they cannot reproduce. Then when heterosexuals become a minority, they get the FAVORED status.
The youth of generation somehow manages to freak out the previous generation. You wouldn’t think they could, after a point. All we had to do to “return to normal” was get a haircut. At the time, long hair on a male was extreme counterculture.
